If there is a propper local sunday market near where you are there are some CRAZY deals on there if you go about an hour before closing, they almost GIVE stuff away, if they don't sell it, it just goes to waste.... I went about 2 weeks ago and got; 40 chicken breasts for £12 ;) (and they're damn good) A pack of 5 steaks for £5 (like 10oz ones) 10 tins of beans for £1 (heinz) A giant bag of apples for 50p :P I love the sunday market at closing time ;) Other than that Iceland and these other frozen food places are pretty good.

I have an ipod and I've not had a probem with it for 2 years now, and I drop it, batter it, take it with me everywhere all the time. *shrugs* Don't see the problem here. (Y)

The thing that appauls me is that it's always the same. The senteces always are pathetic for the crime. A relative of mine was killed by a DRUNK joyrider and the guy got 1 year, down to to 6 months for good behaviour. But they guy died a few months after he was let out trying to smuggle extacy in condoms... heh (Y) .

For clothes + girly shopping; Wander around covent garden, South Kensington and Knightsbridge. Specifics; *TOPSHOP and h&m for cheap funky stuff (oxford circus) (from there you can walk down towards liberty's and u come to carnaby street: and newburgh st (runs parallel to carnaby) with MUJI, miss sixty/energie, MAC, diesel, pepe, Bond etc *Harvey Nics (Knightsbride) *Harrods of course , just to get a feel of what everyone always talks about (Knightsbridge) (Y) *SLOANE STREET and BOND STREET (new bond) if you want DESIGNER (if your feeling RICH $$$$$$$ boyo!) * WAREHOUSE, OASIS and RIVER ISLAND are all on Oxford Street + Kings Road (oxford circus) * Selfridges (Bond Street) Your best bet is to come into kingsX (best connected) then go straight down the steps into the underground, buy a day ticket each (£3.30 off the top of my head), then get onto the Circle or Picadilly lines, either will take you to shops. (Embankment if you want the river, Waterloo for the london eye etc). Oh yeah, and avoid taking cabs. If you need some places for food I can think of some. Off the top of my head that would be MORE than a full day. Basically just go to the stations mentioned, wander around... if you don't know london at all TAKE A MAP or you won't find your way to the next tube station so easily (Y)

haha yeah thats exactly what i've done to my ipod 5 days a week for about 2 years. Just goes striahg in the front pocket of my bag along with keys, coins and all sorts, then gets thrown about all day. It's even got propper dents in it now <_< Doesn't bother me, tis an oldie style ibrick anyway, plays music, holds my main mp3s, does me fine ^_^ It's one robust mofo too, almost everything else (including phone) i've broken in 1/4 the time.

Though a nice concept, the world doesn't reflect that of hollywood and fight club. Whatever you do you have to some SOMETHING for your future, else your 'moment' will be rather dull for the rest of your life. I always think the 'I don't care about grades' is a sort of defence mechanism. I've heard myself say those words many times, but in the last few weeks before my GCSEs I just though 'f**k it' and really put my head down an worked for the first time in years, and I'm glad i did because I came out well from it. AS and A2 levels I sort of float through, I don't activly work but i'm not actively lazy either, I just do whats required and no less. At the end of the day there are several careers that require work, but not through collage school, things like jobs in fitness and health, the airline industry etc, so as long as you don't totally f**k up you can still be ok.

You can do that with any ipod, they all act as external hard disks :S

Because I can play Doom (the full 3d version) on my g3 ipod from 2002, and play video on the oldest of none colour / colour ipods. All they've done is added 1" to the screen, used a newer version of the Dell laptop hard disk, and shrunk the scroll wheel - none of those things are technological advances, they could have released this same ipod back in '03 had they wanted, but they knew full well they could slide in another couple of generations between now and then. The point i'm making is how apple know exactly how to pull in customers, it's not a complaint against the company as such, your right, they ALL do it, but apple do have the marketing and hype down to an art. Belive me, i have nothing against them, I respect them in a way for how clever they are.
