  11. Weather supposed to be ok on Sunday. here is the Skipton weather link. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=1172 No need for sun block for my head this weekend me thinks.
  12. Entries coming in thick and fast...... Keep em coming. Thanks JP
  13. No you don't have to be seeded, we want people to turn up and ride to enjoy themselves. And yes it does work like the tykes series and you can drop a round. JP.
  14. Sorry I meant to put this in trials chat but it has ended up in NMC as well. :$ After the HUGE result at Blackpool. Who is going to be there and what class are they riding ??? Barbara has asked me to ask you lot to send your entries in as soon as pos, this enables her to do most of the work before the trial instead of on the day. If any body is a little confused here goes. It is the national on the weekend of 17th June......then The week after it is our fun weekend, 2 day trial, camping, team trial, and awards from last year, BBQ, then some booze no doubt and then on the sunday it is the normal club trial. So come on people get the entries in for both events it will be a blast. Just remember that you DO NOT need a licence at all to enter this comp, how easy is that????? Thanks JP

    Tyketrial 2-day

We are in. Bike footy for the win. MMMMMM what can I wear this year...........
  18. Little Rob was out for 3 hours last night practicing in the street with a plank and 2 bricks. it was ace just watching him work out ways of gapping, side hoppinng, endoing and loads of other ways of getting over it. He didn't even know I was watching him. That imo is not being a pushy parent, when you do have kids you can live your dreams through them only if they enjoy doing it, my lad has inspired me to take the sport up and he is only 9. I know Jack and I can say he wants to do it it is as simple as that. JP
  19. What time you off up there. I'm a bit rough today :$

  21. I am sure we can sort that out. I had my only clean ever in those trees so we better had use them. :$ JP
  22. We are in. Can't wait, love it there I got a lot of ear ache for not riding at Blackpool, so I guess I might have a do at guest Green route if it's not to hard for me...... Wayne, Boyes i'm gonna need some tuition for this one please. thanks JP
  23. Jake. I was at the trial on Sunday and to be quite honest I was gutted, so much so that if I hadn't driven 250 miles on Sat i would have turned around and gone home, but that would have been punishing Robbie for someone else's short comings. What Rachel is saying (and don't forget the older we get the more sarcastic we become) is that to travel so far and it not to be a true spectacle, as was Hook Woods and Blackpool to name but 2 was a bit of a disgrace. Ben savage rode section 9 and was the only one who got through so the observer changed the section so that every body got through, you tell me what is all that about? Even the only official there could not answer the question as to why the observer had done this. Poor old Rachel had come all that way to marvel at her sons skills, yet she ended up having to observe 30 or so riders, she had no chance of a drink, food or toilet these are the very basics needed to run a prestigious event like a British round. It is I agree not about the silver ware, but try telling that to a young lad who is wet, hungry, cold and no doubt busting for the loo, who has just ridden his little socks off all day. Again i must point out that when running an event of this stature it has to be about continuity,we are all creatures of habbit and come to expect certain standards, what I mean by this is all the rounds should follow the same standard format I.E First and foremost First Aid Thank god no one got hurt. Scrutinising of machines( to eliminate any later squabbles ) Food or at least tell people that it won't be there Toilets (at least for the fairer sex) Fair observing And maybe a little awards bit at the end even if it just for the little ones, after all they are the future of this very damaged sport. Oh yes and not forgetting, some results would be nice, i am sick of telling Rob every day that the results from Hook Woods will be here soon. JP
  24. Yes sorry about that I have not worked out how to make them go bigger when you clik em. Tips welcome please. JP
