I am glad that young Adam managed to get round with a big smile on his face, he never fails to make me laugh , his enthusiasum is second to none. Now he is what it is all about. The future is looking good with this crop of younger lads and lasses coming through. Like you said roll on Blackpool. He will be doing the white route before you know it and showing you the way. I am glad that the revised green route worked out for the little uns as the white route would have been far to much for them and as you say could have put them off for ever. we will be going up to the Glen this week give me a bell if you want to take the little scamp out for a bit of practice. JP

As they all say give fred or Ben a bell. That bike Chris has got is a beast of a bike even Rob felt comfy on it as it is so light, go on Sam get one bought you know you want to

I ride because it is a laugh and it keeps me fit and strong(ish) Little rob rides because........well.... it's what he does I guess.

We will be there (licences permitting of course). Robs last year in white route. JP

Well we have just landed back ome. what a weekend we,ve had. Hot day on Sat marking the trial out, then far to much banter and beer and BBQ'ed meat, late night, early morning, head ache, and to cap it all off even HOTTER than sat. Rob got off to a POOOOOOOR start (as usual) but talking to people it looks as though every one did to some degree. he finished his first lap off with a fantastic clean, then he was away. he had a good ride then and showed some if not most of the older lads riding his route the way to go. It was a high scoring trial but I think it went very well it was as they say, the same for every body. Well done to all who endured the heat and those bloody Kamikaze flying robo ants, you should be proud of your selves. Thanks to Fred ( top chef ), Mick ( top van and TV gig) Babs ( the queen ) ALL of the half eaten observers you were all ACE. Young Abi Oliver for the trophy handing out thingy ( waynio will pinch a kiss off you next time). Well don on 2nd place as well. Hope to see you all at Blackpool it's gonna be a blast. Cheers JP

Just been away for a few days Fred. Sorry, but I haven't sent Robs forms off as yet, what with all of the fuss and confusion. We are coming as planned on Sat to help mark out and such things. I will sort the paper work out then if that is O.K. P.S. please bring Rob a new free wheel with you if you can remember. See you all on Sat. JP
-
Ben you can babysit Robbie for me while I help you dad mark out the trial for Sunday. i will be there as soon as I can on Sat. see you there buddy. JP

Looks as though its gonna be a busy year this year. 2 sets of nationals or whatever they are called to attend. Can't wait, Bracken rocks is ace, Hook woods the dogs, Blackpool quality The list goes on. I for one am looking forward to it. Please please people let the riders riding do all the talking, we should be happy that so many people are happy to put trials on for us to attend. If you do em all you can't fail to have had a good year at some of the best venues in the world, let alone the UK. JP

Just wondered who is going up to Lady Lane in Bingley this weekend for the third round of Tykes. I have booked some good weather for us all. It is called Deer Park. I will be setting out seven or ten sections, they will be do-able but hard enough to test all you novice and inter riders. We will be setting out for Beginner 6 to 10 ( or really easy for the little ones) Green very easy(on a 20" wheeled bike normally the tiny bikes route) Novice White (easyish) Inter Blue (average) Expert Red (hard) Elite Yellow. (well hard !!!!) We will be up there for about 12 30 tomorrow (sat) marking out. If anybody wants to help out. Entries will be OK on the day but if you are entering on the day please turn up in good time as it can get a little hecktick on the morning of a trial. P.S. Just to remind you, if you give us an observer you will get a free ride at our next event, they will (age permitting) get a bottle of wine, they will also be fed and watered throughout the day, if they have never done it before they will be tought how to do it by one of our regular observers. Hope to see you all there. JP
-
All in the title really. If you haven't already done so, then please send your entries off. Venue -- Deer Park at Bingley. Date -- April the 1st. Categories -- Every one catered for. (Yes even me) :$ I guess the numbers will be down a little from our first two events in 07, mainly because of Koxx Days, i know of a good few elite and expert riders that have gone, so if you want to come and nick some points of the likes of Boyes and Savage then this weekend is the time to do it. Anyway I hope to see you all there. If you can, bring an observer with you then we can crack on at 11 'o'clock. Cheers JP

Keep at it young Booth. It will come to you. You seem to have hit that wall (pardon the pun) you will struggle for a bit and think you are rubbish. Then all of a sudden it will come and you will be on fire. I hit the wall and I just can't get passed it. Robbie hits it stays put for a week or two then he moves on. Thats just how it seems to go pal. We will go out on Thursday night if you want buddy.
-
We are on it as well. God knows what time to set off from here. See you there about 10 ish ish ish I am not making one of my ridiculous comedy appearances tomorrow. I can't do BIU let alone this UCI lark. JP

Hallelujah(sp) to you now that does make some sense. Just read your post and yes you are right. I should have my own account on here, Rob never posts anything as he is only 9 years old and his typing skills leave a lot to the imagination. :$ But he is far far better known in the UK trials world than I ever will be, I also don't want to be bothering him with all of this mess on here. I too my friend are going to go out for a ride with Robbie on our mountain bikes now as it is also a great day over here. And thanks for the comments about Rob and Sam being the future of the sport and I am sure you will agree as a dad I have a duty to protect him from all of this. JP

Just got into work this morning and it has just dawned on me that not only is biketrial in the UK on ots backside, but it looks as though world biketrial is also on its ass. What is the deal with only 2 rounds? Both of the biggest bike manufacturers and Koxx and Monty France and Spain and Spain being the country that spawned the sport have dropped out. I smell a bit of a rat. I have had close relations with the man himself Ot Pi since Robbie started out and I bet he is absolutley gutted at the state of the sport in genral not just over here. So cheer up every body make the most of what we have becauase at this rate you will not be able to go abroad and compete soon either. Somebody will step up to the mark and sort all of this out some day very soon I am sure of that. see you at whichever and whenever no doubt. JP
-
Nice one big fella when we gonna see you again buddy. I thought we had a duel to settle
-
I'm off to bed nighty night to all and everyone

AHHHH I get it..... You lot are takingthe p>>s out of me. He who laughs last laughs longest. I might just ring the rozzers and tell em my van has been robbed, then none of you will be going to France.....MMMMMMM I feel a plan coming on PS wayne I will not charge you the agreed 400 nicker for the van if you bring me or Rob a nice shiny bike or frame back
-
# I must be a bit thick becaus eI don't get it
-
Next year for sure, that is of course if there is such a thing as trials bikes in this country by then. We should get a full coach next year. A full on road trip to France. JP
