  1. You had best bring some mates lads.!!!!! I have been up at lunch time to look at the land. It is the next field down to what we used last year as the farmer is grazing his sheep on that one. It looks ok will be challenging to get ten sections but we will have to see how it goes when I have had a better look on Sat. I will be needing some help to set out so if any one wants to help out I will be starting at 9 / 10 'o' clock on Sat. see you there. JP

  7. I have been out on my bike with my mate this aft he is 30ish, and we had the best ride ever, pushing each other on a couple of logs in the local school. some body once said to me that and I quote, "You are here for a good time not a long time" Make the most of it pal, you will not be able to so it forever. Oh yes one last thing Mr hurman I am 37 NOT 38 how many times do I have to tell you. And I think they are not as you put it "facinated" but just think it is funny and who ever said we are wise!!!!!! JP
  8. Alleluya to that, two kids, big mortgage, two cars the whole shabang but it aint gonna stop me. JP
  9. No Bucky it is a lad called Steven Bailey from Silsden, it is a bit of a home made motha, it is a 2 man lift, it weighs a ton. Watch out for it returning some day soon, you need to ride this with steel toe cap wellies, smoking a roll up.
  10. Never to old I am 37 and love it, crack on and ride bollox to what people say, I am rubbish but it keeps me fit and keeps me away from the telly. JP
  11. It is not really a comp as such, it is really all about showing off what can be achieved on a bike, I for one would like to see Danny tip up as he can bring the uci style to it. Lets not get into who wants and who is gonna win its not about that, we have to remember that this young lad is no longer able to ride and he lives for this sport, so please all of you aout there come and join in. JP
  12. Yes I bought it about 18 months ago off Waynio ran it for a bit then moved it on to Hurman (OLD GIT sorry I can't ride I have snapped my finger nail) and got my Meg It is a very light bike and totally reliable. JP

  14. Sorry no way is it for sale not now not never. But thanks anyway JP
  15. I think this as retro as I have seen so far. It belongs to a mate I used to ride moto trials with 20 years ago, I belive it is about 25+ years old Most of it is home made and it is as heavy as you like. I may well borrow it and do the fun day on it at Brimmham Rocks. He used to compete on it when he was at school. Sos about the quality it was done on my phone. JP

  19. here's the big bro to that, new stoppers now. sorry, not wanting to "thread hijac" but thought it was appropriate. :$ John
  20. Yeh it is a shame that no top end comp bikes make a bike for the inbetweenies, Rob is ok on the Hydroxx but suffers from the extra weight and size towards the end of a competition, he is a little over biked on it but handles it well. We have a healthy number of riders approaching this point in the market, I was speaking to someone yesterday about what his lad wiil ride now he is too big for the 205, he doesn't have a clue what to put him on as he is far too small for a full size 20". Yabba may well have played a blider. JP

  24. I would just like to thank Fred for all of his help over the last couple of years with Rob, and I for one hope to keep a strong relationship with him. Does this mean that Tarty will become more involved with the organising of events now that they do monty and Koxx. Koxx are a competition brand and Fred has always been around the comp scene promoting the sport and the brand, and helping people out. JP
