  1. seriously aviod quittin the teams, cus they'll get you further in life, but i only have bout two hours a night n im out ridin round, sometime even on the 14" bike:P(pink barbie one babie:P) so get out and ride. And whoever said the less you ride the more you enjoy it, thats bullshit mate, i ride all weekend(no i bin made redundant) and i ride all night when i can and i ride all through the holidays, and i enjoy it so much more because i improved at a staggering speed, winning dirt jump comps dont come easy, let alone after being a rider for just one year...also enjoy it with a laugh, no serious crap!! i ride with hilarious people, and it makes it seem like ive been riding forever. do what you feel is the best for your needs!
  2. its out already! supercycles in nottingham! !aNT! (they dont feel nice!! and they're blue and yellow!)
  3. i dropped 21ft on a freeride to a sloped landing, on my kona scrap i dropped 7m to flat (dunno bout the foot, wasnt on the tapemeasure) and then i did 5ft rather sketchy on a t-bird:P not mine though...and really i just manualled and braked, and pedal hoped off.
  4. I have a full xt gear set for the rear, this is just for singlespeed you see! ant
  5. I have just converted my bike to singlespeed. my chain keeps hucking up on the rear freewheel/cog thing. i know the problem is i need a chain tensioner or i need to shorten the chain, but i dont want a chain tensioner, because im fussy. so i need to shortern my chain really, but i cant, because to make it still stay on i can only take half a link off, and that dont work with my sram pc89(which i stupidly took to peices...). Do i need to buy a new chain, is there any that are a full link in the size of a half link? Or do i have to get a chain tensioner (btw my dropouts are vertical)? !aNT!
  6. i guess he read the other guys thing who got validated in 2 hours!
  7. I had the very same problem, dont heat your rim, dont do anything to do with lubricants, and never use metal tyre levers that have sharp edges...leave your wheel on your bike, get someone to hold the back of you bike(makes it more stable in the bike see!) and depending on how bad your puncture is if you can pump quickly enough then pump it to a massive pressure and that will push the bead up (doesnt actually work on creepy crawlers i found out!) then shove a tyre lever in and quickly pull the bead out with as much effort as possible, amd ise a second lever to hook to another spoke, and a third to yank the rest out around the rim...if you only have two levers then use the second after hookng a spoke with the first and move it about 8cm round the rim and do the same as the first tyre lever and your finger should be alright after. hope it helps! !aNT!
  8. Oh My God, what have you been taking, grinding the disc will ruin it, i got an ever so "slight" scratch on my front one and my pad was gone in 2 days. setting fire to it will probably leave an oil residue from the gas, or if you super heat it, it'll expand, then shink, crack and warp. Silly boy! Also there isnt a "team" onza t-pro...gees... !aNT! Or you could just try and get your bike shop to give you a new one cus its not worked for so long, thats if you bought it from there and still have a reciept! !aNT!
  9. How does your zoo ride? I may just have to get one if I manage to find a new job!
  10. watch yourself wid the wood and studs, theres like soooo many people who hate you riding as it is, and your really just givin them ammo to get the council & police after you, its happened to me when i was pedal grinding a high kerb, we stayed around the spot and someone called the police and if we were seen around the place again we would have our bikes confiscated for a week (which unfortunatly they can do with good reason!) so just watch the damage... sorry to be boring and the nokian tires are great!! !aNT!
  11. there is a thing called a chain link remover, as chain tensioners tend to have the same problem as rear mechs, as the go bang when you land wrongly...i did n it works
  12. how does the limey handle?? i am considering the zoo python!!
  13. i seen a few of them snapped by the seat tube on the upper chain stay....so im not so sure bout them...
  14. what bike should I buy, 20", through diff price ranges, basically review some bikes you've ridden between these price ranges and say what you like, what you dont etc! 1)100-500 2)500-700 3)700-800 4)800-900 5)900-1300 6)1300+ Thank you!! !aNT!
  15. no i had 3 wobly ones...its quite embarassing cus it was off a 2 foot jump...if only id had got a pic before it was cleaned! twas mean...the doctor used local aneisthetic (spelling?) and opened up the cut and showed me and there was a chip of bone just to the side no good. my green t-shirt became dark red. i was saved really by my helmet cus accordin to my mate who got me out of there i hit the tree head on and made a mess of my helmet and the as i bounced off unconcieus my bike smacked me in the back of the head crank first follwed by front wheel and split my chin. imagine the damage with the helmet though! just a lesson to all who ride without a helmet, and i thank my mate cus i almost didnt wear one! just think how small 2 foot is, and consider if i messed up that by pure unfortune, you could mess up a small gap and all..!! enough of me! !aNT! By the way they were taken a week after!!

  17. Lmao i went to a bike shop in the peak district with my kona when id snapped the spring in my rear derailler and they commented whilst they were fixing it how stupid the design was and what was the point in the big tyres and the small cranks (which were only 32-22!!) i was just like rriiiggghhhttt then, xc bike shops are dodgey! !aNT!
  18. cus some people dont trust ebay, eg me

  23. yepp my turn to but in, but this is like the whole Bmxers/26" dirt jumpers. both ride a bike, but bmxers get mardy at 26" riders at there trail, and same vice versa. not saying they all are but you get me. my point is we all ride so shut up and make up, or take your fight somewhere else because your just boring on here to be fair. no1 but you pair or however many there was arguein there are really interested and want to hear you bitch-fest! so chill out and done! now go riddeee!! !aNT!
  24. nice...i want graphics lol, thanx everyone!
  25. get the t-mag, ignore prices completly. my mate had a t-pro, and the bottom bracket part on the frame cracked 3 times, on three different frames (all 05 t-pro!) now he got a t-mag frame free, and thats lasted him the same amount of time as the 3 t-pros put together! Not sayin the t-pros crap or ote, but its up to u
