  4. hehehe o dear...i like 24", i ride a 26" kona, which i cant do tht much good on...mayb cus the fronts heavy i dont know but it feels to big, i dont tend to ride 20" except my mates bmx, i rode the t-mag and t-pro, and just have such a problem with balance, so i see 24" as a good option, just for street, cus i dont wanna really do comps and stuff! !aNT!
  5. it comes in more colours than purple...although i think it looks sexy in that colour....we all have our own opnions though(before a "minor" arguement of lips being split and ribs being broken)!
  6. and i better pay off my kona scrap and get saving...maybe i should have lied to you all:P hehee its really £750...hehe not really!! anyone know anythin tell me!!
  7. ask tom tom, his looks good mind...
  8. There is info in hip hop of this months mbuk (issue 192) (page 173). For those who dont have it ill write it all out word for word Product Preview; Heres the latest addition to the Onza Range - a 24inch wheel specific complete bike known as the Zoot. 24 inch trials rigs are rare (only a handful of companies make them, most notably Ashton and Leeson) because at present you can only compete at national and international level on a 20 or 26 inch bike. As a result, 24 inch bikes are the preserve of street trials riders. Most of the frames have BMX look and feel with a high top tube and a saddle, as opposed to the minimum standover hieght and lack of a saddle a saddle on the traditional, comp orientated trials bikes. The Zoot is also designed for urban acton but has the techy feel of a competition trials bike instead of a BMX crosover rig. Some people like a comp bike feel even though they dont ride comps. First impressions are that the Zoot frame is a re-scaled version of the T-Rex chassis-twin seat tube makes it look like a european comp machine. It features a relatively long (1050mm) wheelbase, 380mm chainstays and a +35mm BB. Any owner of a 24 inch trials bike will tell you about the hardmanship of finding a quality lightwieght trials fork (even though i think its hard enough finding any decent 24inch fork...cept for the d-street 24in but tht thing is ugly--!aNT!) with the brake bosses in the right place. A special version of the fly guy fork will eradicate that problem. Its 400mm long and features both four bolt maguras front and back(back being on the frame obviously ) and a disc mount. The bike wo;; be specced with magura hs-33 brake front and back, 24inch versions of onzas ronnie and reggie rims (to answer leedstrials question, its a yes!), Maxxis slow Reezay tyres and a special 24inch bar and stem set up. Theres also the option of a bolt on seatpost assembly to allow the use of a saddle. The Zoot is expected to be availible well in time for christmas. The price is to be confirmed but should be around £400-£450 (about £150-£200 for the frame i guess) For more info go to www.supercycles.co.uk (even though i cant find a thing about it on there, help!!) Hop that helps for all deprived of the essential MBUK mag! I posted that a while ago, but anyone know any more information?? !aNT!
  9. or wheel your bike into a position you'd normally be in on the back, move your pedals to natural position, then step on and balance...i can sidehop onto a small rail on my back wheel! !aNT!
  10. marzocchi comps to heavy...try a set off 66's... as for 24in ive been looking for any price catergory, but they are hard to come by, jus use a set of 26in with a disc, thats what 24severn and dmr do... !aNT!
  11. im sure they will forgive you for your awesome bike (Y) !aNT!
  12. what music makes you want to ride, or do u listen to when your riding? like im not to into hip hop that much but i cant stand rock when im riding, whereas hip hop makes me feel like im performing and helps me concertrate. you style of riding and your style of music should work together...in theroy!! !aNT!
  13. It may be more worth listenin to him, but ride it first, if you like it, go for it!! !aNT! By the way I missed the im a new rider bit hehe :P
  14. The saracen mad, not a line you want to follow, see the forums in the new members chat, there are alot of complaints that the rear chainstays snap! £350 doesnt sound bad but it all depends on how much it has bein ridden...look for cracks or stress fractures on the frame, and im sure someone who knows what they really are on about with that frame can tell you more! !aNT!

  16. One way to make sure your getting a good deal with anythin worth over £200 is to go an veiw it, ask for a quick ride, to check bb and brakes! There is nowhere which says you have no choicebut to buy it. only problem with what i just said was most stuff on there is american! but o well... hop tht may have helped!
  17. I rode a Saracen X-ray Pro, its suspension snapped before the bike...and he feels emmbarrased about an x-cell!! :) :) :) I just sold it for a Whopping £150!! (with hs33) not bad i dont think, but ill probs b told diff in a min!
  18. That is immense...anyone who possibly manages to take the piss out of it needs killin...it ruins the look of a bike if you have to many colours, whereas that all flows pretty nicely!! Because im not exactly a genius on parts alls I can say is a big (Y) Its a bit of a shame it wont stay like that for long, but who cares, the first hour of riding everyone will be shocked! As for those complaining about (or not complaining but you no what i mean!!) the overdose of red...Whats wrong with lairyness!! !aNT!
  19. cheers there lads! i buyin a trials soon so i was wonderin before i go rolling back down rocks!! also is there any problems like with damage to the rims??
  20. That website is superb, i can pretty much do some stuff now, like hop on ma back wheel 4 times he he, i just have a confidence problem with leaning that far back but im gettin over it slowly...after a while techniques get easy, like back hops. just keep tryin at it...wait, thats not what you asked...okay follow the trashzen tutorials... some one explain trackstands to me please!!
  21. For trials I would stick with the v8's over the v12's, cus the v8's when they get trashed or break (which i never have heard of) they only £22 whereas the V12's are alot more. And all you get more is slightly better bearings and a few more replacable pins...and in two years ive only lost one pin and slightly ground them down...but im more happy spending £22 to replace them...
  22. Ive heard off of people it'll be in by 2006, and be about £550, i hope it comes out soon because ive got all the money for one, just as a first trials bike...
  23. Can someone please explain the concept of rim grinding and tar. What do you grind your rims with? Any specific types of pads? How much should you grind your rims? Any alternatives? How do you apply tar? and how much? and where can you get it from? Thanks to anybody that helps (Y)
  24. Stop takin the rip cus he wants to try summat new, i guess u do no better n what u say is more than likly true, but let him have a laugh, you make it sound like hes goin downhillin or trialsin as soon as he makes em!
