here is a pic of the rear wheel on my echo and i was wondering what pads they were on the magura? any help is appreciated. cheers chris

if you rind you do need more power on a disc the thing to do is take the pads out and roughen them up a little. maybe take a craft knife to them or something like that and roughen up the face of the pad. cheers chris

firstly this isnt a when will i be moderated topic i was just wondering if there was any pattern to mederating people as i have seen some people with 150 plus posts but they are still pre-members. is being moderated an automatic system or does all the admin have to check everyones posts and see if they have been good enough to get moderated. cheers chris

have you considered looking second hand? you will be able to get a nice build bike there for 400 or so which gives you money left over for upgrades ect.

with trials and downhill its just the general feeling of progression and accomplishment. putting it all together and finnaly pinning it. i love getting all the moves together for a section then going at the section and cleaning it smooth.

happens to me aswell mate, just tuck your jeans into your sock, im sure people point at you enough for riding a little bike and having no seat so that will make no difference to your appearence

hi people i am thinking of buying an 04 1060 zoo pitbull of someone on here and wanted to know a few things about it and other peoples opinions. firstly i doesnt come with a mech hanger and wanted to know if the hangers were the same for 04 as they are now? i.e are they the ones you can get on tarty and select bikes? also what are peoples general opinions on the frame? good/bad strengths weaknesses and how good are they for a first stock bike? also any pics of peoples own bikes built up would be appreciated. cheers chris

how much difference is bike length really goin to make on an overall wheelbase? i have found a frame for sale but it is a 1060 and as i am quite tall (about 6'4) i was wondering how much difference this is going to make compared to say a 1085 or a 1090? this will be my first stock bike so not being used to any other am i going to feel the difference of a few mm? as far as a mod bike is concerned i prefered a short one but i have ridden my mates bt raven 5.0 which is a long i think and i like the feel of it. not sure if this is relevant but the frame i am looking at is an 04 zoo pitbull. any help appreciated cheers chris

flow definately, if your riding a section like stop start stop start it doesnt look as good, smoothness is a given, and generally if you look confident on your bike you just look better!

can you travel at all mate because if you like natural riding come to portland it is great here!

you just have to push the right side into the middle relly hard bending the middle of the link and in theory it should come undone!

if you get the mx version it slows down the wear of them considerably!

the mx's have a little area of extra waffle grip on them, this makes such a difference to the grip so definately go for them!
