  1. I have a Hope Try-All with plaz disc brake pads and try all rotor and it has to be the snappiest most powerful front brake i have ever rode, has some modulation but cables have more modulation than hydraulic and people would say cable are more powerful, this argument will go on forever
  2. that zoo is a really nice bike and is nicely colour co-ordinated but i agree with joe, i dont really like coloured cranks
  3. I just thought after the big build up towards the Tensile Freewheel i would write a review on it. After going from and ACS(36ep) to a Tensile(60ep), the difference in engagement was amazing. The engagement is near enough to instant and the freewheel is very loud. I have had little to no skips as far and i have had it a week roughly. Also i now have more power in my kicks so im improving in my gaps, backwheels etc. With £35 also i could find nothing else better to spend it on, a brilliant spend on a brilliant freewheel.
  4. try all and echo hold grinds quite well but it depends on your pads also, i used to have an onza rim and gu pads worked really well with a grind
  5. gangsta's........... alrite then
  6. Try-All tyres are very good in the wet and dry, it has a triangular tread pattern meaning they dont clog up as much mud as other tyres such as Monty and Maxxis, so therefore very good for natural. They have a quicker wear rate than most of the other tyres, but they have thicker sidewalls which will reduce the risk of pinching. Very good for £30
  7. i have a profile on my python and a tensile on my t-pro but i cant tell alot of difference, but for £35 brilliant, cool ride today joe
  8. echo 05 rims are brilliant, v. strong, light and cheap! i used to run majic's on my echo 05 and they worked poo, now i have zoo pads and they work so well compared
  9. I agree 100% plaz are brilliant in the dry
  10. after a waited arrival, the tensile freewheel is out on tarty, £35, 60 ep
  11. many trials riders prefer Zoo bars, they come in a different range of colours, £35, strong and affordable, 29" wide. Onza 28" and 30" carbon bars are quite popular, which are very light but the price is bit high for me(£45 for the 28" and £55 for the 30"). Try All riser(£45), flat bar(£45) and yourself replica(£36) which are all 29" wide are also very good. Although you will need a 25.4mm clamp for the yourself replica. Echo Tough bar are 28.5" wide and are also flat bars and arethe most affordable bar at £30.
  12. again, no right or wrong way to sidehop. I sidehop with my strong foot on the inside and to front wheel. I can do 36" though so im not complaining , but yeah personal preferance and most people sidehop opposite which looks alot more comfortable
  13. tarty emailed me saying that the tensile freewheel will be with them in about 2 weeks
  14. really nice video, i like the way you throw the bike around and how big are your sidehops, looking pretty big, loving the monty also
  15. with sidehopping, its all about your technique. Preload is probably the most important as the take off is a big part of it. Another thing with sidehops is you need to be brave, we you are pushing yourself to do bigger sidehops what most people tend to do is put their foot down which wont help you! just be brave and work on your technique and you should see a rapid improvement
  16. With gapping, i get to the very edge of the ledge, pallet, then i lower my front and kick harder than i normaly would do with a kickhop. With bigger gaps, i try to kick harder(make sure your chain is tight because if it was loose your kick would not be as powerful and your chain could come off and you would look silly!) and turn slightly to help me land on the pallet more comfortably and easily
  17. cool , i like Echo Teams, if i had a choice though i would have got the long but nice one anyway
  18. v. nice how did you get that done! my mate is thinking about having his name on his python
  19. i have had both and the Try Alls are more grippy and are very bouncy, but cost alot of money(£50 a pair). Maxxis have a better wear rate and are cheaper( about £35 a pair), but personal preferance really, if you have the money, go for try all
  20. ooo sounds a bit harsh! I have had a few bad stacks but never face planted!. I did a Drop Gap and lowered the Front to much and nose-dived in a Curb and cracked my Knackers on the Stem hurt real bad and worst of all they bled but as they say no pain no gain
  21. yeah i agree with mr_pitbull, but the holdroyd looks well nice and so do pythons
  22. Bike is looking Mint, when i see 26" like that it makes me want to ride stock but yeah how does it ride
