  1. Hi , you'll be validated soon enough (unlike the classic NMC twats above), then you can buy a bike. In the mean time, I recommend looking around on ebay and the like Welcome again. Dean

  6. Just about to pwn Matt and JT! Will post shortly following my wonderous victory
  7. Wtf, are you serious? Lets weight it up, a standard magura flexes more than most discs as it is? Echo's have more power for whatever reason it is, I cant remember now. So it's just going to make it flex more. A 203mm avid bb7 would do the job I'd of thought, just like a hs33 will do too.
  8. Thorougly enjoyed that Steve! Very streety, I like On another note, thanks for the pads so quickly, they're working really well already! Thanks for the written note also, made me smile Take Care Dean
  9. So onza are shite? Hmmmm. I'd like to see you find a hub with the same quality for the same price. Trust me, it wont happen
  10. HAS ANYONE ACTUALLY DEALT/RECIEVED ANYTHING FROM THIS GUY? Caps for attention, I'm rather interested
  11. Right, some of you will be aware that I'm an absolute shitter on a bike, and sidehop to my lead foot. Basically, I need advice on how to switch to sidehopping 'properly', can anyone help me to get this method? Whenever I try it, i can barely make 15 inches, and I just look more stupid then before. Any help from the sidehop beasts on here would be appreciated
  12. I run mine on a light grind, and they're still damn good
  13. The pads you have are meant to be rather good on a light grind as it is! Having said that, i'm a massive fan of coust pads
  14. As already said above, the best way to enhance a cable brake is to use decent cable, odyssey linear slick.. Best cable ever? Make sure the cable's fairly short, with the route from the lever ( which must be avid or xtr by the way ) as straight as possible, gently held by a zip-tie down the fork leg is always good. In response to toyota200x : Yeah, cleaning your rotor and pads up will probably help. Boil your pads untill the grime comes off, then sand a little. Stick your rotor in the dishwasher also. Then, go to the top of a LARGEEEEE hill, and drag your break all the way down, don't give the rotor time to cool off, and immediatley drench it in freezing cold water. Also, make sure your cable is well lubed, and if it's just a shitter, I recommend you buy the one I linked above
  15. When the full build is 800quid, I care?
  16. I've swayed over towards coustsinks. I have absolutely no idea why, But i think the metal backings may have been the decider for me
  17. wtf is that disc? cable, oh my. How does it perform?
  18. Ta ali, no wear you say? How longs it been? I could delay having to spend money here haha
  19. Cheers lads for contributions Yes indeed, the cousts I tried were plastic backed? Seemed a bit poor on the light grind though? IS this just an illusion that plastic backings give? He didn't have a booster, so it may have been set-up, not sure though
  20. Been through the pads thread, didn't really find what I was looking for? Just about to stick a light grind on, and I'm pretty sure my remaining 3mm of green rock pads are gonna diminish quickly. So what are the best pads for a light grind, that cope with the grind being a bit dead and still perform well? Always been a fan of heatsink, and fancy the heatsinks in cnc backings. Not a fan of coust pads of late. Any help is as ever, much appreciated
  21. Very possibly coming with this sex beast. Dont hold me to it, prior commitments really
