  1. Once i heard this noise coming from my bike, turned out it was a squirrel scuttling in bushes, so i smashed it.
  2. How come the New Members who make Topics stating how they used to ride and want to get back into it get validated?
  3. DJ Shadows music. He's the best.
  4. Black Magura pads on the front (no joke) work mint. 06 Rear Echo rims are crap, and i once destroyed a Echo CNC rim, so it would be no good to me. ZOO!'s not that nice looking now, frames dented etc
  5. Or learning, I used to be the kid who sat down on rides and was scared to even approach people for help or how to do this, that and the other. Dont learn nothing from sitting around, its always good to comp people. I love getting taught stuff, when Damon Watson came mine to stay, he told me a few good pointers i wouldn't have picked up for along time, And craig and my other mates are really good too especially as we all ride and push each other, really good atmosphere.
  6. The Page Hits are written on, dont actually work. Immense.
  7. "f**king hell hes acting well big headed now hes gapped from that 10ft wall to that tramps corpse, not going to hang with him, id rather ride by myself" just been talking to a few people and it does happen, jelousy is all i can say
  8. What Is trials? IMO its an awfully competitive sport, you can lose friends over it and you can gain friends. My attitude towards comps would be this, as i hate Natural all i would care about is the results. With street i like the challenge and acclomplishment and improving my self ability mentally and physically, hyping myself up for bigger lines. Are all these new companies improving how we ride and see trials today? Before Craig and Neil grouped together with ZOO! the frames and compenents were terrible, ZOO! were classed as weak frames! Now Dengs the biggest name in trials for components. Trials will deffinetly go further than what is already is, Many manufacturers who didn't specialize in trials to begin with are getting to grips with our sport, for example Hope are bringing out Trials Specific components now and Hubs, instead of the option of a desired upgrade to suit trials when ordered a Hope Bulb hub over the phone. Do you think Trials will become an olympic sport?
  9. Yeh Props to Selectbikes, i practically bought the entire bike from them Phil Williams is a dialled guy Tarty bikes sticker was green so what can i say, more green the better . It suits me alot better than my Monty, and i can actually do a drop gap without snapping more than 10 spokes at once , expect a joint vid on it VERY soon with my and Chris Gordon, some pretty cool lines going down will be in members bit, i cant be doing with less than 100 views in New Members haha.
  10. Spec speaks for itself really, i've put my short ZOO! bars on the bike as originally riding a monty with monty bars i've become alot more used to short bars. I I originally had the 72 eps Echo Hub on the bike, as i ordered a profile before hand i had plans on using the hub for my monty, annoyingly the hub wouldnt fit in the bike as the axle on the hub was too wide....so had to sell on. Comments more than appreciated, and any questions just ask.
  11. 1 x Giant (Shit) 1 x T-pro (cracked) 1 x 06 Pitbull long (Gone) 1 x 05 Pitbull short (Gone) 1 x Red Monty 221 Ti 05 (using Now) 1 x 06 ZOO Python (Using Now)
  12. WOOOOOOOO Steel helicoil inserts today! by this amazing Engineer in Peniston! he can do everything. If anybody else has threaded there frame or anything i will recomend this guy to you.
  13. Your pretty much risking your life after having a chain for over a month, i saw a thread in chit chat about "How long have you had your chain for thread" i was disgusted to see some people having there chain for well over a year! seriously i've been in drop gaps after 3 weeks of having a new chain (KMC) and it just snapping on me, change your chain once every Month. Don't oil/lube your chain up either as oil/lube attracts grit which wears the metal inbetween the link pins causing them to wear and unscrew themselves and in turn snapping the chain. Enjoy.
  14. i've snapped far too many KMC chains in my time, KHE im on now.....seems ok for now!
  15. A helicoils a steel thread isnt it, so surely it would be so much stronger than Dengs crap alu bollox. anybody know what size i will need them helicoiling to.......M4? M5?
  16. Ok so i've had my Python 4 days already.....bought some Echo CNC brake clamps and the bolts that came with them were stupidly short, about the same length as what you would use for a Magura brake leaver (pretty short). Tightened them up and BANG, 1 thread hole gone......tightened other 1 BANG thats gone....... I used a standard Magura bolt, which was of decent length, obviously it tightened right down to the bottom and nothing could possibly move the clamps, well you'd have thought so, i put some pressure by pedalhopping a gap, and surprisingly the clamps moved outer line. The left sided clamp threads are fine (i think). I didn't want to make the same mistake again by using these short bolts that came with the clamps, i decided to thread in a standard Magura bolt (by that i mean long and normal) it threaded in really hard at first on both mount holes, i thought i was going to thread it, as it was really tight on its way down (is this normal?) Anyways, would you recomend getting all 4 bolt mounts helicoiled to be extra safe! or just the 2 that are Fcuked?
  17. What are you going to do with the information? you will probably loose interest in your own thread once the comments start flowing in. anyways, i prefer sitting down.
  18. Dannys bike rides amazing, really good Geo to it, and his components suit it perfectly. one of the best 26 inch bikes i've been on so far. Dannys designed the frame well.
  19. If more people rode like Damon Watson on a high BB frame then there would be so many 26 inch frames with high BB out on the market, as you've probably noticed alot of frames look the same now. Most companies are setting trends, for example the design on the Coust frame was followed by Onza, ZOO!, Adament, Toxsin. And then those companies have modified the frames, then after that another company will copy the design and modify it more etc etc. I very much doubt any rider will reach a sidehop above 56 no matter what geomatry frame or bike set up. Trials has evolved.....but only because the sport has expanded and more talents are showing. I always thought 10ft flat to flat (forward hop gap) would be impossible for any rider until Neil came along.
  20. I need this video now! is it hosted anywhere?!?!?!?!?!? Biff!
  21. Incase some of you took that comment i made seriously you'd have better luck jamming your foot in your wheel. But i do run black magura pads on the front on an 06 Echo Rim and it works well .
  22. Nope, i've found one better, black Magura pads smooth rim and tar.
