    Tyres

I have a Schwalbe Big Betty 2.4" in my Echo Conrol '04, and was suprised how little tire clearance there was. I think i 2.7" is probably too big, and a 2.5" should fit alright Hope this helps, Jon
  2. Flat to flat i can do 6ft 3", and biggest rolling gap is 7 ft dead on Been riding just over 8 months
  3. I would say either both red front and back, or both black. I'd personally go for both tires in black, with some red rim tape to go
  4. Nice pictures, including all the random weird pictures. That gap onto the post was just like
  5. Benny your landing wasn't harsh , it was like 7ft 6" so quite big, i think it's because you just didn't compress the landing well so in your mind it seemed big and a harsh landing. I thought the drop was pretty smooth You'll have to go bigger
  6. Biggest so far is 6ft 4", landed really smoothly onto concrete. Don't see the point in big drops anymore because they can take alot out of you and your bike if not done well, still fun to do every now and agin for a buzz
  7. Had my hub skip on a gap drop, which made me go over the handlebars off 7 pallets . Also had a chain snap my weren't too good for myself, and the brake slipped on my mates bike dropping off a ledge, causing the bike to fly from underneath me and just my back to land on this ledge, which really really hurt.
  8. Thanks for your replies people Good to know what everybody thinks, as it is my first video...... So i will go with some mellower(sp) music in my next video.. I'm already quite a bit better now, so will get some more footage with better lighting in the 'trials barn'. Thanks Jon
  9. My first video Started riding a bit after the Bikeshow, so 8 months really. Video shows me at 6 months worth of riding up to now at 8 months worth of riding. I put most of this video together when i was a new member, but didn't get many replies so i thought i'll put a bit of new footage in and post it on here. >> Eengoeidee Link << Hope you all like it and please comment once downloaded. p.s. My hub only has 16 ep
  10. Nice video there. Saw some clips from Long Sutton skatepark I live near Long Sutton, but don't know of any trials riders Good video anyway
  11. Nice pictures there Looked like a good big ride
  12. Please comment once downloaded people. I'm now a full member . Well Merry Christmas all
  13. Here is my first video. I have been riding since the Bikeshow, so 8 months really. It is quite a big file as it isn't compressed or nothing. Eengoedidee link I only practised sidehops the other day, so don't laugh. So i hope you all like it. Good and bad points wanted.
  14. Unfortunately i couldn't swap the forks as the steerer wasn't long enough, half the height of my stem. Will look into getting the new Echo Control forks. Can't wait for the new Hope Pro 2 Trials hub to be out, cause from what i've heard they seem very good through testing and they come with an awesome guarante thingy. Thanks for the help.
  15. Thanks soo much mate I was getting well fustrated why it wasn't working, i don't know why i didn't think of that. Will get a video out soon then. Thanks again.
  16. My dad had basically given me his old camcorder which he never used. There was no software that i know of that came with it. I have a USB and also i Firewire (i.Link) port with cables, but once connected it recognises the camera, but does not show any footage etc. So to get video's onto my computer will i need to get some software, to buy or download even? Or is there anything else i could do to get the video's to transfer? Any advice please, cause then i can bring out a video p.s. It's a Sony Digital 8 camcorder (DCR-TRV245E) if that helps Thanks Jon
  17. I was doing a drop my my mate's dog ran out, luckily he saw this happening, and as i was lowering the front wheel, the dog got saved although on landing my handlebar my mate on the head LOL. And when i went to backhop 5 pallets i didn't get the height and managed to commando roll over the pallet to my feet.
  18. I work there! As a Saturday job it is a real doss, pretty good pay though so i'm not complaining
  19. Just wondering whether anybody knows an exact date when the new Hope Pro 2 Trials hubs are gonna be out? Also are there different options to this hub, as i think in another post there was like a normal cassette style hub, a single speed one, and a cassette hub with a fixed sprocket (like the echo ones which have buggered up ) And i have been offered to swap my Onza Lite Guy forks for some nice Echo Urban's. Does anybody know the length of these forks compared to Lite Guy's, and would this be a good swap (no money included with the deal)? Any advice please
  20. I've been riding around 7-8 months now, and gapping from pallet to pallet i have managed to do 6ft 3"
  21. Hi.My mates got one and they ride realy nice. I would say that the rim would fit fine, but i'm not too sure about fitting a 2.5" tire, as my mate's 2.4" just fits. The one downside about the frame is how much the chainstays flex through braking, although you get this with alot of frames there is quite a bit of flex in this frame and a booster would help alot. Hope this has helped
  22. Nice video benny I will do that drop at the bus shelter soon(ish) Good music aswell
  23. I would say don't diss Halfords cause i work there, but they're not really a bikeshop and couldn't give a damn anyway.
  24. I will make sure i don't forgot my password this time, hopefully. I ride a 2004 Echo Control whick is built up pretty well and will soon have the new Echo rear rim and hub when it comes out :)
