I think the kids parents had something to do with the arrangement of the event and apparantly the kids dad was telling the boy to volunteer to go up. But yeah, your right.

From your point, to me (having not rode a braked 24" for trials) it seems to me like its a cross between Mod and Stock; which it basically is, isnt it?
