    Bonz 2011 Range

The rims seem to be the same as the V!Z rims. Stems are quite like the tarty/trialprod/.../generic/stems. Just a bite longer for the stock one. The quality is not so nice , i bought one, threads/holes are drilled a bit higgledy piggledy, But maybe it is just mine. Anyway splined rear hub is a very good thing.
  2. No one have ever tried this G3 rotor please? Or even heard something about it? Thanks.
  3. Do search topics about the SL freewheel on the forum, you'll see it seems quite reliable. The Try-all one is not. as reliable.
  4. The broken pedals that you've seen: Was it broken body mainly? or broken axle? Thanks!
  5. Hi everyone. I made a search, but didn't find anything about it. Does anyone uses Avid G3 rotor with an avid BB7 brake? Is it a good setup? Is it as good as the roundagon genuine rotor? Thanks
  6. You can't say that because some of these pedals break. Even if it is probably weaker than "standard" Vp pedals. My SL Ti caged pedals are for now 5 month old and i'm about 85kg, so for most of the people it should last at least a year or so.
  7. Now i'm afraid... I think it can be a pretty dangerous breakage. Does anyone know if there is a lot of these broken pedals out there(here i'm talking about the axle breakage only) ? SL and TR... Or is it just isolated cases? Maybe tarty guys .... Thanks

    New Hs33 Brake

Stupid question, but though...are the blades interchangeable from hs11 to hs33 Is it possible to mount the hs33 blade on a hs 11? In order to have a totally black complete lever.
  10. I was hoping you'd say a word about it... Thank you! SO i think i'll stick with the echo urban as it seems to be the best ratio price/weight/reliability.
  11. I'm not sure they stopped making them, as some online shops just get a bunch of it. And if the star nut breaks, the trialtech one is compatible. Any thing about the strength? Anyway, thanks matthew for the reply, it' s hard to find something about these forks.... By the way i've always ridden echo forks, so i know it, but i'm looking for something lighter than my urban fork.
  12. I'm really interested in buying a VIZ light fork 26 disc, but i've heard that they are not so reliable. I would like to have some feedback from users or dealers (i know tarty used to sell them). Are they as weak as the echo sl ones? Thanks!
  13. Do you have any experience with these VIZ forks? Because i've heard that they are not so reliable. But i'm intereted in having more information, because the weight is interesting.
  14. Does someone know if the VIZ light fork is any better than the Echo SL?
  15. I think you meant to say, that there is some play/wobble in your freewheel. If you think there is too much wobble you can take off one of the inner shims. This is what i've done and now it does work fine.
  16. Maybe that's why he is for now the best. I guess he just try to be effective not stylish. Moreover hermance's style is almost the same.
  17. Strange tough...but if you say it is 9.2kg, it must be 9.2 kg If you have time , can you write down the specs? Do you know what is the weight of this Atomz fork? And the weight of the frame only? Thanks.
  18. The long is: 1095 - 380 - +55 - 72° The weight surprises me a bit. what are the exact specs?
  19. It does make sense. I'll think of it.. Thanks for the advice.
  20. I'm 1m87 tall. So i guess i'm not a giant... However i'm quite well on the bike with this set up. I'm used to ride with this stem, but with shorter frames i used to put a 2cm spacer. Here as the reach is quite long i don't use spacer. But i'm thinking about using a shorter (and lighter) stem, with a spacer. You think it is kinda exaggerate to use a 150mm stem on this bike considering my size?
  21. I've never used a "normal" SL freewheel, so i can't say. But this one ride very nice, it does sound loud compared to my old white industries freewheel. At first it was quite annoying but now that i'm used to it, i like it . But the engagement is really much better, and it feels quite "safe". Till now zero skipping. So i assume that the only difference between the sl and the Ti is the weight. I hope this freewheel will outlast, because i really like how it works.
  22. Thanks guys! I must admit i really like it too. And above all it does ride very well.
  23. Hi everyone! Here is my new bike. Thanks to atomz for making me a very good price And thanks to tartybikes for helping me sorting out my issues with somes parts and other things... I think i've be quite annoying, so special thanks to Adam. Anyway, this frame is the best i've ever owned. I will not say it is perfect. But it is quite trouble free and the tensioner is awsome. I highly recommend this frame! The only "issue" is that it needs a specific rear hub. But to me through axle is a good choice. Weight is 8,950 kg. I think i could save a lot of weight running a différent front brake, even if i really like the bb7 brake. Specs are: Frame and Forks - Frame: Atomz quark 2 long white. - Forks: Echo Urban. Wheels - Front hub: Rockman Bub - Rear hub: Atomz with trough axle - Chain tensioner: Atomz "Integrated" - Front rim: TRY-ALL hOles - Rear rim: ViZ square hole - Spokes: Dt revolution - Spoke Nipples: Viz Alloy - Inner tube (front): "Generic" tube - Inner tube (rear): Maxxis freeride - Front tyre: speed king 2.1 Supersonic - Rear tyre: Continental rubber queen 2.2 Brakes - Front brake: Avid BB7 with ti bolts and sd7 lever - Rear brake: MAgura hs33 - Brake pads: TNN Kenny Belaey - Brake clamps: Echo cnc Ti bolts Drivetrain - Cranks: Rockman lite 175mm - Freewheel: Echo SL titanium 108.9 - Chain: Trialtech Lite Z610 - Rear Sprocket: Atomz splined 15T - Pedals: Echo SL caged - Bottom bracket: VIZ isis with Alloy bolts - Bashring: Neon Steering - Headset: First - Stem: Echo hifi 150x25 with Trialtech clamp and Titanium bolts - Handlebars: TRY-ALL Nowar Carbon Riser If someone have questions about the frame, i'll do my best to answer it....
  24. I used to have one. I rode it for a year or so, and i think this is a really good frame for its price. If you like this kind of geometry, in my opinion it is the best frame you can get for this price. Quite well made, quite resistant and light. A good compromise.
