That's one (hilarious) translation. What he actually means is that Dom's reputation has been seriously damaged in Taiwan (presumably because of the disputes, payment issues and debts that have been mentioned here and elsewhere):

Donc pour vous résumer, ce n'est pas Mr Hermance qui ne veut pas de pièces chinoises, mais les chinois qui ne veulent plus de lui!
He also says that "it is out of the question to offer a bike on which half of the components come from a Chinese catalogue". That's completely right, Mr Hermance's reputation has been seriously damaged in Taiwan. t's not Mr Hermance that doesn't want Chinese parts, it's the Chinese that don't want him!

I've had 6 of my bikes posted in this thread, all by other people. Just sayin'.
I've also got a picture of one of your bikes on my computer which I think is better looking than any so far (the one from Dunkirk)

Yeah, it'll be the same as last year - we'll announce the top three videos (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) in each category and those in the novice category that have won the additional and spot prizes.

All of the Novice videos so far have now been posted on the blog, as well as being posted on here over the course of the day (apologies if we're all up in ur feedz!).
The competition closes at midnight tonight, so any videos received between now and then will be added to the lists and posted on the blog/on here, then that's yer lot and judging will begin!

Just a quick reminder about entries - the deadline for pre-entries is midnight tonight, so there's still time to enter in advance if you do it online via the events page. Payment must be made at the time of entering or your entry will not be processed.
Entries will be accepted on the day, but will be subject to a £5 late entry fee and won't be eligible for championship points for that round. If you enter in advance and then find you can't make it, provided you let us know (by emailing info@biketrialuk.co.uk) 24 hours in advance, you'll receive a full refund, so it really is worth pre-entering if you can - it makes things much easier for all concerned
Also, given that this is the last round of the series and could be a decisive round for some people, we really do recommend pre-entering to make sure you qualify for what could be all-important points!
The end-of-season awards will be presented immediately after the trial. Don't forget to check the overall results for the season so far to see where you are in your class and who you might need to beat this time!-

Hi everyone - just a quick update before I get stuck into sorting through all the entries etc. - with Ben Rowlands tied up with uni stuff and me having just got back from the World Cup in Antwerp, there's quite a bit for me to catch up on with the comp!
The official deadline for competition entries has now passed and we've had a lot of great entries come in over the past couple of days - thanks to everyone that's worked so hard on their videos and for making this year's comp such a good one!
I'll be collating all of the video submissions, contacting the judges and sponsors to make sure they're all set up and then the judging can get underway!
Since it's going to take me a little while to get through all the entries and I know some people have been having trouble uploading their videos, I'm going to give people until midnight on Wednesday 2nd October to submit their finished videos and will aim to have all of the links etc. with the judges by the end of the week.
And another quick thank you to all of our sponsors for their support and for the fantastic prizes that they've provided - check the blog later today for a full update on who's provided what and how it'll be allocated and keep checking back for updates on how things are going and when the results will be announced!

I was really looking forward to Vasha's entry and it more than lived up to my expectations! Awesome riding, super-imaginative lines, plenty of fun and I massively appreciate the effort that he went to to produce his own track for the video - above and beyond!

Great work on the video Mark - really shows what a great weekend it was! So many varied activities, so many people enjoying riding, so many highlights (too many to mention) - SUCH a good event! As Anal said, can't wait for the next one.
Cool edit as well - very pro. Nice music choice too

Any reason the videos were deleted? Will they be going back up again, are you re-editing them, or are you withdrawing your entry from the comp?
Shame you took them down, the video was really good!
GETcreative two - winners announced!

The GETcreative scores have all been received and we've spent the morning going through, totalling them up and working out who the winners are.
We'll start with the top three videos in the Sponsored Category and will follow that with the top three videos and spot prize winners in the Novice Category in another post.
We had some great videos in the Sponsored Category, with 15 entries from sponsored riders from all over the world. Our judges had their work cut out for them in scoring the videos and pretty much any of the entries could easily have taken the win. In the end though, the winners, as voted for by our panel of judges are:
1st Place
First place in the Sponsored Category goes to Sean Watson, who was very close to getting full marks from all of the judges for his video, making it two wins in a row for Sean!
Sean takes the prize for the Sponsored Category, very kindly provided by Five Ten:
2nd Place
Second place goes to Vašek Kolář for his brilliant video:
3rd Place
Third place goes to Rob Harris, who finished in second place in last year's Novice Category:
Congratulations to Sean, Vašek and Rob and also to the rest of the entrants, who all put together some really great videos, with plenty of effort and creativity going into them - that's exactly what we wanted to happen, and if we could give prizes to everyone that entered, we would!
We'll be posting the winners of the Novice category shortly, so keep an eye on the blog, Facebook or this thread for those!
