  1. It was a brilliant (if difficult and tiring!) day - a BIG thanks to everyone who helped to organise and run the event in any way (especially whoever sorted out the weather!) Just typing a full write-up for Tribal Zine - should be online later today or tomorrow. If anyone has any decent photos (especially of the podiums), and wouldn't mind us using them please send them to me at benjitastic@hotmail.co.uk and I'll include them in the article. You will be credited for you photos. cheers
  2. Address: 9 rue Pierre Dupont. 75010 PARIS map
  3. Having parted company with MBK to produce the new Evo 3 frames (available mid-June!) under the TMS name, Thibaut Marriaux tells us about the new frames, the specifications of the full bikes (including weights and prices) and the reasons behind the split. Read the interview and see the photos here.
  4. The article on round 1 of the UCI world Cup in Ripoll that took place this weekend has been updated with full results and some photos, as well as an interview with winner Gilles Coustellier. See it all here. EDIT: New interview with Vincent Hermance at the bottom of the article There's also a new article with a load of photos by Nando Estarellas, aka El Rebostet, here.
  5. Better late than never, here's the full write-up and photos from this year's famous K-124 Days street ride and party. We're sorry for the delay, but Jé had some problems with his camera, and we were waiting to see if any better photos appeared anywhere. Unfortunately, none surfaced, so we've had to put up what we managed to get. The quality's not great, but it's all we have i'm afraid! www.tribalzine.com
  6. An article with everything you need to know about entering, getting to and finding somewhere to stay for the 1st round of the 2009 UCI World Cup is now online here.
  7. Tribalzine and Photo by Sergio will be bringing you, over the next few days, complete galleries for each of the Super-Elite and Elite riders at K-124 Days 2009. Galleries of World Champions Gilles Coustellier and Benito Ros are online now, and we will be updating the article (and posting in here) each time a new gallery is added. Super-Elite Galleries
  8. While the details of how to enter these competitions in France won't be of interest to most of us, the round-up of photos from last season's comps is certainly worth a look!
  9. The guys obviously got some skills (the sidehop onto the chain-link fence was particularly impressive), but I turned it off halfway through. I can't get into videos like that, with heavy metal soundtracks, one move clips played over and again in slow-motion and little or no imagination put into the editing... It's a shame, so many riders could make great videos, but don't.
  10. In addition to the short video of Rick Koekoek posted up by Dave (here), there's a collection of photos of Rick at this year's K-124 Days festival and a resumé of his 2008 season for those of you who've missed what's going on Rick Koekoek, Street & K-124 Days
  11. You might remember a week or so ago I posted an article featuring all of the latest news from Cerny Trials Club near Paris, including their revamped outdoor trials area and the competition to be held their this weekend just gone. The outdoor area at Cerny looks amazing, and the plans to double the size of it mean it can only get better! Here are the full results, write-up and a gallery of photos from the comp: www.tribalzine.com
  12. Translations of the Aurem and Slate articles are now online on Tribal Zine
  13. Should be working now, I'd deleted a bracket off one of the codes by accident
  14. It seems to be having some problems - think it's my internet connection, not letting me upload it properly. I'm trying to fix it now, I'll post back when it's fixed.
  15. I saw that the video had been posted, but there's an article to go with it on Tribal Zine, hence the new post.
  16. More K-124 Days media by Tribal Zine... All of our photos of Gilles Coust' and an interview with him on what was the most difficult competition of his career! Check it out here.
  17. The second installment in Claudio Corbetta's series of videos of Current French, European and World Champion Gilles Coustellier is now online, along with a short article on tribalzine.com. It's a great video, with some lines and moves that simply defy belief! Check it out here if you haven't already seen it.
  18. yeah, it's another one of those videos that makes me want to go out riding and quit riding altogether at the same time! I didn't like the ending one little bit!
  19. There's a new street video from TMS riders Thibaut marriaux and Nicolas Luque online at tribalzine.com. As you'd expect, it's full of big moves from Nico' and a lot of showmanship and trickery from Tibo'! (warning: the ending's a bit scary!)
  20. cool - it's probably best if you send them straight to Jérome so he can just stick them straight up that white hybrid with just the one brake looks well nice! are the foxx's (foxxes?) designed for younger/smaller riders, or are they a 'standard' frame?
  21. Photos of all the bikes and components featured in this year's K-124 Days exhibition are now online at tribalzine.com There are some good looking products and the 20" yaabaa's look quite interesting! forgot to mention - thanks to Adam Read and Mister Ti for the photos
  22. Tribal Zine will soon be bringing you the official K-124 Days 2009 video - filmed using 3 HD cameras and steady-cam equipment and featuring all of the best moments from the weekend, including exclusive interviews with Gilles Coustellier, Vincent Hermance and Alain Rémy. Since the video won't be finished for about a month, Nicolas Ollier (Tribal Zine/Trialprod) has brought out this teaser to tide us all over: Teaser This video is going to be MASSIVE!
  23. Gilles did - he won. Giacomo didn't finish Saturday's comp due to technical problems. As far as I know he rode in Sunday's comp.
