well, i got in about an hr ago, having had a great ride. i don't know why people slate ashford so much, we found some interesting stuff to ride, and yes, some big stuff too. i'd be interested to see what people said once they'd rode there with someone who know the town, i for one will be going back, we rode for over three hours, pushing ourselves and having fun, and when i left there was still stuff to be ridden due to limited light and lack of time. hopefully some of you nay-sayers will come along and see if your opinion changes. in a non-inflammatory way, how many people have actually ridden ashford?

if you don't mind foreign films, try "la haine", "y tu mama tambien" and "city of god", all bloody good. anything by tim burton is a goodie, and i HEARTILY reccommend "inside i'm dancing" or "ti sleeping voices wake us"

right, in compensation for today's rained off (understatement) ride, me and darren are meeting at the Ashford cineworld cinema (near the M20 nightclub etc.) at 7:15pm on saturday the 27th and going for an evening ride in Ashford. I've never been myself, so i'm looking forward to playing on some new lines, which darren assures me there are a lot of :P hope to see some other people there! Ben

alright girlies? as you might be able to tell, the weather's taken a large turn for the worse! we've got thunder and heavy showers in deal, and darren's got it where he is too. i've got to be in folkestone to pick my bike up anyway, so i suggested to darren that we meet up anyway, if the weather's not TOO bad and have a bit of a wet ride, see how we get on. after all, the weather might change again in two and a half hours time judging by how it's been so far. so it's up to you if you want to come along, there'll definately be some of us out :P i'm meeting darren at 5 now btw.

i'd be happy to meet up a bit earlier, but darren's working til 5 i believe, and i've got stuff i need to do during the day. also, during the day it'll be busier and therefore harder to ride places.

cheers mark, i might do that. i should be getting some hope braided magura hosing at the start of next week, which i'll need to take to the shop to get fitted, might get them to set the brake up with the booster while they're at it, save myself the ballsache. i'll look into the team booster though. will it definitely fit the control?
