Matt's been back down to sheffield recently, as i'm back from studying abroad. i bashed a short video together of a couple of rides we had. it's fairly chilled out, nothing big, and not much in the way of editing but i quite like it so i thought i'd put it up on here. sorry about the server, i can't upload stuff to tv.isg using uni computers. yeah, i know that ben Swales guy too, he's an absolute legend! he's DEADLY cool, one of the most stylish riders in the UK and devilishly handsome to boot! (if you hadn't already guessed it, he's also me!) i'm living on glossop road, just up from the hallamshire hospital, and studying at sheffield uni. i'm up for riding most days, i'll PM you my number i bumped into a guy down at hallam the other day who rides too, but didn't have his bike. he said he'll be bringing it up any day now, so there's at least two of us!!! give me a bell mate and we'll get out ridin soon! (might be poppin to notts to ride with fred on wednesday if you're up for it?

i'm back in sheffield after a year's absence and most of my riding mates have graduated or moved away. are there any new riders at the uni, or is anyone planning to ride sheffield soon. either way, give me a shout as i'd love to meet up with some new riders! cheers Ben

i spent most of last year living in Oviedo in Northern Spain as part of my uni course. i didn't get much riding done, but in the last week there i managed to get a couple of clips together, and some of my mate vinz, who's french but was also living there... *WARNING* this video contains some rollerblading.... i reckon it should be either wednesday or thursday, but later, like half four....i'm workin til four evryday this week, and i'm off to addingham for the weekend on friday (anyone wanna come?) but want to get some ridin done in the week, if the weather's not still shiiiiiiiite that is.... also, shouldn't it be chumps, or cun ts?

Not sure if it's been posted before, but i haven't seen it. it's a video of Petr Kraus and Jaromir Spesny riding prague at night. not sure how old it is, but it's a bit different to the type of videos i normally see on here, and has really made me want to go out riding (shame the weather's shite ) Prague

someone once told me that they originally planned to have a massive fight scene there, but harrison ford was ill on the day of filming so they just shot the guy... there's a reference to that scene in the last crusade (i think), where another guy with a massive sword comes out and indiana jones goes for his gun again, but it's not there... anyway: 24 Hour Party People, "you were right about mick hucknall though, his songs are rubbish, and he's a ginger..."

you silly billy!! looks pretty sore matey! how's it doin now? hope it's better soon, me n woody are planning a romantic weekend up that way for us lot the weekend of the 19th/20th. we both texted you, but you're being ignorant or are away... basically i think we're gonna ride natural (shipley/addingham somehwere like that) on the saturday and then have a street day on sunday somewhere. i'm having some real trouble with my rear magura, every time i pull the lever, the pistons either return REALLY slowly, or don't return at all, and are REALLY hard to push back... i've tried re-bleeding the brake four or five times, with water/antifreeze, incase there was air in the system and it's still happening i've tried everything i can think of, including cleaning the pistons with degreaser when they're extended, removing the lever blade and cleaning inside where the TPA goes with degreaser, but nothing seems to help! my knowledge of maguras is admittedly limited, i tend to just fit them and forget them. my setup is a 2004 HS33, with fresh products lever blade (tried re-fitting the old lever blade and the problem's still there), hope braided hosing and it's bled with water/antifreeze. i'd really appreciate any input/advice on this, as it's doin my head in! also, i'm supposed to be goin ridin later today so speedy replies would be great!! also, it's been transported on a plane a couple of weeks ago and not ridden since, not sure if that might afect it, shouldn't do right? my msn is yfrontsonmyhead@hotmail.com if people want to add me, a it'd be loads easier through that

i'd prefer somewhere closeish, like dover or ramsgate, as i haven't got much money for petrol. fingers crossed i should have my wheel by the weekend. if not, i'll drop a line on here in the week

darren, your arse IS the size of a foreign country!! some nice photos there - shame i couldn't make it out riding this weekend - travelling and girlfriend breaking up can play havoc with a guy's social calendar! i'm taking my bike out to spain finally though, so i should get quite a bit of riding done over there. got a new video camera too so hopefully should get some footage of me and my new spanish mates!
