There are many way such as: Grinding your rim Put tar on your rims Buy Good pads depending whether or not you are grinding you rim get a brake booster not much else you can do to make it hoold better, maybe try pulling the brake lever harder?

I agree with mat smith, my tar went on grinds WAY easier than ever on a smooth rim

Just get any colour rim tape then put pink tape ontop of it i did that but with blue because they didnt have in stock

are you running a front freewheel?

That frame can only has 2 bolt mounts not 4bolts like magura's need so you will need adapters

T-pro's dont have disc mounts (well the 06 one doesnt anyway) so i would go for that if your wanting disc EDIT : sorry didn't read your post properly, yeah the echo hubs are suppose to be pretty decent

It's not really pointless, can have games of who can go the biggest, see who has the most guts, also the adrenaline of doing drops is pretty good But anyway mine is about 8ft, cause im a pussy
