    Day Out

Went and had a good ride the other month. i was riding with basically no back brake because the pads were on the way out .... took camera and uncle did some filming The riding isn't anything amazing the clips were on the computer doing nothing so thought i'd host them. theres no music, just a fair bit of wind. first few shots are off an ar*e of a line, took me bout half hour to nail-managed in the end though . the ledge was only a tires width. i've put the video on eengoedidee and tv.sgi.si so which ever is easiest for you: eengoedidee DAY OUT.wmv tv.sgi.si DAY OUT.Divx comments welcome cheers chris

this guy talks sence. yes the frame flex will be reduced because of the internal mounts. it has always been one of my ideas. finally someone has seen sence. still room for improvement on them though. there is still a long way to go in frame design but diferent frames are having good ideas put into them. they just need some with a brain to get all the good bits from different frames and put it all in to one. some ideas would really look ugly on a bike, just becasue it isn't what everyones is used to it will mean its rubbish. but if it works and makes the bike stronger. who cares. chris

it works though. i am 6'3" feels beaaautiful to ride. good job i took the longer stem off it and a few of the stem stacks. changed my mind needed as wide as i can get. every bar feels thin. i had some renthal bars on it few weeks ago . Felt awsome-too much rise though, i kept banging my knees For a fiver you can not go wrong with the halfords grips. you get 4 sets a bag if you cut them in half cheers for the comments

  15. Was a good ride last nite decent amount of riders turned up. didnt get wet this time yeh got kicked off uni grounds - everyone managed to pull a few moves off before like. Other weekend i think we could have stayed there all day, no one bothered us. Chris
  16. They came out well nick Loving the picture of me and liams sheer determined grinding of the teeth in the second picture. was a good ride till i fell in the water , least i wasn't as bad as mike, full on dive in to it chris fairbrother, ride in tyke trial just look for the green wheels
  17. Rarrrbish lol not bad i suppose, need more range of moves and places. I'd lose the effects from the video because that terrible camera gets worse when you add them. you out today lad?
  18. double the height of the wheel, its 47" i do it almost to two wheels but i normally do it front wheel. its hard with the setup i have. its a viz logic stem 160 x 25deg. and i have 1 1/2" of spacers under it. my bar heights about 43". but i am 6'2". its taken me a few stems to get something like the feel i want and that seems to be the one thats like. i am not sidehop mad, more of a natural guy so the bike is set up for natural. cheers for the comments though glad you like em.
  19. oreet fellas, needed some pictures of me doing a sidehop for my art exam. Turned out quite well, nothing special. just thought i'd share them with you guys. it is my highest sidehop, measured 47" . well chuffed when i pulled it off. doesn't look that high with my bus of a bike comments welcome if you like
  20. first ride out with my 180 HOPE trial All good. 21. i rode the competition the other sunday in keighley and heard a few riders complaining of arm pump. i no that hurts and is highly annoying. i had a pair of handle bars lying around with the levers on them. i was just messing with them. and thought of adding resistance to them. thus there is the finished product. would be cool if i could get the idea patented and what have you, because i no a lot of trials riders would really appreciate it. even the motor bike trials riders. thanks for the comments, thought it would be of use
  22. I use 22-19 for my Base TA26. It feels nice for pedal strokes and hopping.
  23. hi all i was playing around in the garage and have come up with something to make your fingers stronger. i hurt my hand a while back and lost my grip on the handle bars. this would improve brake control and also your grip on the bike. here is what i have come up with. It consists of an old pair of handle bars, 2 brake levers, 2 short bits of brake cable and 2 fairly robust springs to add resistance. the springs are clamped in place with a bolt on to the cable. here's some pictures of it: images hosted by ImageShack
