Sorry if here are some sucky spelling... translated it from norwegian in 1 minute.... but here we go: I was at work the other day and was reading a catalouge of all the products we have. And suddenly i saw something interesting!! Poleurethane plates!!! They cost about £683 for a plate 2m x 1m. Since i was unshure of the softness of them i wanted just a test object So i called to the main office in OSLO and asked if they could send a little test of the product. It was shipped express the office in my town. Then i got the tools.... The poleurethane plates are 10mm thick, so they are perfect for brakepads. I told them to make them fit two brakepads in the width of the plate. Then i had to boil the old brakepads to have some backings to test on. Christmas-soda while waiting for the water to boil! Finally boiling!!! then i put the old pads in the water. When they where "ready" and real hot, i had to remove the backing Then i had to glue the shit together. (I know this is not suited for the shit, but only thing i got at the moment) Final result! When i have tested them i will get back with a little review on the pads. Maybe i will buy some loose backings and make shitloads of pads and sell them real cheap (only if they are goodshit ofcourse!)
