has it got a front freewheel? it may be the freewheel coming loose. or the freewheel hitting the BB shell.

if you've got money and you really want to upgrade some parts id go for: Stem Bars Forks Freewheel

buy yourself a cheap freewheel and stick on there, then at least you can sell it as 'working' instead of needs this done to it etc.. People are more willing to buy if they can use it as soon as they get it.

oh yeah, that was the problem. pretty obvious really. I have re-done it now, tightening the freewheel about a quarter turn each time before spinning the crank to make sure it was not rubbing. Seems to be fine now. I put a bit of thread lock on the bolt as well. Thanks.

thought id ask in this thread.... i took my freewheel off today to tighten up the lockring etc, when i put it all back together and tightened the crank (pretty damn tight!) i could no longer spin the cranks. Have i over tightened it? is it being pushed too far on to the taper? Thanks

dont get it. i turned around and saw the lads that did the tabple top it was 4 18-20year old bmx jumpers a said to my mates sayin theres them lads that did the jump and i just stood there with my mates shovel in my hand even though i didnt do anything and them to litterally bobbed there pants and pedalled like mad and these lads were just blabbing saying were just trying to make these jumps better and i was like yeah what ever. especially that bit. so who did what and who was talking to the bmxers etc??

Random thing but its kinda annoying me now. whenever i play a song or video in windows media player and move on the track or video to another part the volume level always seems to rise. Anyone know why that is or have a solution to it? Thanks

Get an eno if you can afford it. if anything does go wrong you can always replace any part on it. If you dont have the money get a tensile although they dont have sealed bearings they are very good for the money.

i found a little screwdriver, i managed to turn one of the bolts about a quarter turn. now theres nothing left of that screwdriver. just my luck! i guess, theres always the ride on the 22nd.

i did it once and got we will send you one soon.... got a brown one from that. I tried it again after and it said the mutant got away but low and behold another one came this morning. Now ive just gone and filled out the form 3 more times although it says the mutant got away.
