my dx32 is 38 same as the onzas and echos etc.

ok well i want something a bit wider than my alex dx32 as setting up the brakes at the mo is proven quite hard as the brakes are all the way in and still got loads of tpa. so a wider rim should help. but i dont really want a koxx or anything like that as i used tio have mone and never had a working brake and dented it all the time. so i heard that sunn make some wide disk rims that you can just grind to make them rim brake compatiable. this true? what rim is it? and any other rims that are strong and hold grinds weell? eound the 40mm + ark? thanks

ok well i have sat infront of me a 32 hole rim and a 36 hole hub can they be built together? if i just leave 2 blank hole either side? not going to really effect strength.... will it?

was a wickid ride today some crazy lines going down especially from fatmike with some large drop gaps and from prawny aswell both of them destroying there rims ( many dents and flat spots!) but was one of the best rides. i love natural :)

ok. but just lookin at the tioga and it just looks soo nice hehe just need a reveiw on strength. and also i have a rear dx32 so may want somethin smaller for the front.

ok well its new front rim time and syuck beetwen to rims. 1st being a tioga dh disk on would drill with 22mm holes beetween spokes and then sthe sidewall like bigmans done on his dx32 to save some weight or the second option would be a dx32 wich is wider, cheaper, but a bit hevier and do the same drillings. which do you think? tioga is 25 quid and i can pick a dx32up for about 15-20 quid. thanks

ok well i used to have a rbbody and lever.. for about 6 months it was emmense best brake i ever had but then bout a month ago it leaked :P but it was second hand and inside was scored n stuff so i can accept that i changed to a magura boddy with the rb bleade in it and there was a noticable amount of power loss. ive missed the great power i used to have so i ordered another one :D second hand. and wel see. i do love them :D

the adapters are so that i can run normal magura pads on a vee brake. i was thinking maybe a odysey slic cable for it or somethin? do they hold aswell as maguras and would i need a booster? whats the cane creakCANE CREAKlever and shram calipers like? should i get this one? worth it? then get a nice cable? thanks

ok well looking for some help on vees for the rear. what is a good vee brake? can they are they as good as maguras? do they need much maintance? cables make a lot of diffrence. reason i am asking is that i have had a lot of problems with my magura recently and thinking of goin vee. i would prob go for a sd7 all round with standard cables with some vee adapters to allow me to run magura pads on it. prob stick like a tecktro booster on aswell or maybe nothing at all. so what are they like? worth it? well that set up give me good enough power etc? atm i have a rear rb lever blade on a magura with koxx bloxx on grind. thanks tom
