Ive had this monty for about 10 years, its been mostly sitting around doing nothing so i thought i would restore it with parts i had laying around and some new parts too. I stripped it down to the frame, and built it up from scratch again. Nope, the bike is amazin, rides perfect! It actually makes me want to ride constantly!

Spot on there mate, couldnt be arsed to explain though lol. The dent isnt too bad, just doesnt photo well, oh well people missed out on a bargain and im enjoyin every second on the Koxx. I will update soon, got a hope mono carbon/ti rear brake and some new tyres now.

I Have a 1998 Monty X Lite 221 im restoring/upgrading. The headtube is 1 1/4 inch and it needs a new headset. anyone know where i can get one from or if its possible to get one so i can run 1 1/8 inch forks? Thank you in advance.

Echo and zoo are the same company.

Its all right saying going for a da bomb and other cheap bikes but the ride experiance on them will be crap compared to what he could get with his budget. If you got the money, buy the best second hand bike you can with it, at least if you dont like the sport your more likely to get most your money back and if you do love it, you got a good bike to advance on! Things break in trials weather you get a da bomb or a Koxx!

Height dont matter, im 6'4" and rided a mod. dont let people tell you itr shouldnt be done.

Them bars dont look like they have 85mm rise.

For learning i would recomend a mod too. dont let people tell you your too tall for one either, im 6'4" and i ride a mod. I like the look of an Echo lite 09, think that would be good as a first bike and still be good enough as you get better, excellent spec for the money. Good luck with finding a bike you like.
