  6. The bottom bracket is what screws into the frame, the crank arms bolt onto the bottom bracket axcel and the pedals bolt into the crank arms. A free hub is a hub that has a drive mechanism built in, like a chris king or a hope pro 2, with these you have a fixed chainring at the front and a splined sprocket (with a spacer kit) at the rear. A fixed hub just has a screw on sprocket on the rear but to get your drive you have to have a freewheel attached to the cranks You could also screw the freewheel onto the hub but this would mean you would need a large chain ring at the front. hope this has cleared thing up for you mate.
  7. Looks amazing mate, Love it!!
  8. give me a text if your looking for a 24. 07595261040

  9. i will have a think mate.

  10. if you would take 350 i would be tempted to jump in my van and come and get it this evenin.

  11. where in kent are you

  12. i got one somewhere, im now running a fixed hub so its no use to me, you can have it for £6 delivered if i find it.
  13. I think you will also find is due to Network Rail trying to cut costs. They are making a lot of reduncys and thats why they are striking. I work for one of there big contractors and they have alread forced a lot of reduncys in my depot due to cost cutting. The sad thing is it it will take a major rail incident before the goverment realise they have to put the money into railway, at the end of the day there is a lot of people traveling on trains every day and and i hope a train does not comes off because there was not enough staff to maintain the tracks properly.
  14. depend on you current frame sizes but most thing should swap straight over as long as you have a 63mm bb and 1 1/8 head tube, i would recomend changing the chain though.
  15. Front freewheels have been about for years. i got a 12 year monty xlite which had one standard.
  16. ive just tried the spoke setup on mine and it works just fine much to my surprise!! Top tip from the boys from Tarty
  17. i got mine off without the tool, large mole grip things and a oil filter remover (Basically a chain Whip)!!!
  18. What is the spoke wrapped around? im very interested in this, you need to post a how too lol.
  19. i needed that trick yesterday when my mech hanger snapped.
  20. unfortunately due to our great national mail servise im still waiting for my trialtech sport bars to turn up! Thank you mate, its amazing how a few bits changed you opinion so much. There is still more to come, i got it weighed and was shocked at the results so its gonna be going on a diet! Bet Tartybikes loves me!
