Search feauture.

Have you got something to say in everyones topics?

Back to topic:

The echo brakes and Maguras have the same function really.

It all depends on how good the bleed is.

Also it might of been the pads that made it slip, using certain pads on a certain rim surface will improve braking alot.

But Echo brake do tend to leak alot, so stick with the 04.

and would of helped alot

the brake to be honest are basically the same with the echo brake you have the 7% better braking due to the lever blade and the tpa goes real quick and you cant water bleed .

the 04's are realy good brakes easy to fix due to the tpa bodge but you cant have a differnent style lever blade

so its all prefence realy

edit id rather have callum in members as all you do is slag everyone off 'cos you think your cool

I`ve had magura -04 -05 - 06, Echo CNC and Echo SL. I`ve had no problem with leaks on any of these.

Also, my best tip for bleeding is: Shimano mineral brake fluid. It keeps the seals tight, bleads easily, and runs lighter than magura blood.

As for using a booster with M6 bolts, you can simply drill larger holes in your booster, and your good to go.

Keep in mind, that the better the pads / grind are, the less power you will have to use on the lever, which in turn gives less strain on the seals, and the brake will be less prone to leaking!

Rant over...

Cheers!

It's not just me, or are you missing something? It just seems every topic has a shite post from you somewhere in it.
