Obvious one is a longer bottom bracket.

Did you have a spacer on the crank arm before you fitted the bashring...?

Another option is to try and tighten the freehwheel onto the crank arm as much as you can before you put it on (and you will still get it a bit tighter when you stand on the pedals once you've fitted it all), this may just clear the freewheel of the BB.

Final idea is to physically make your bashring thinner by whatever means possible.

A ffw on a 122.5 not surprised it rubs and i think you need a 127.5 BB to be able to run a ffw.

it was ok when i was runing my echo cranks and a freewheel ???

but i never had a spacer on it

then again super cycles did sell it me :giggle:

what about if i use another washer on my crank bolt so the bolt dosnt screw in as far?

hence not pushing the freewheel in as much?

ive got echo cnc cranks, gu bash, truvativ gigapipe dh bb (128) and a tensile FFw....and it still rubs, no way to make it fit. Tensile cranks, or new bb would solve it, but it's sort of groubd itself a little groove in my oh so soft bb shell so all's good.

But when i had my old bike i had the same cranks, bash, bb and FFW and mine was fine? What frame have you got ?
