Greetings Posted June 12, 2009 Report Share Posted June 12, 2009 It will work very well with old hubs which are a bit worn.The other technique which Janson used is a bit more complicated but doesn't damage the bearing. It involves locking the drive shell inside the hub and hammering it out. Since the drive shell is locked with all the internals, the bearing, ring drive and spring will come out with it.
