What Handlebars Have The Highest Rise?

I'm wondering what handlebars have the highest rise, as i am trying to make my bike feel a bit bigger and less cramped because I'm riding a mod and i am 6ft 4, so you get the picture. (N)

After a recent ride i have had bad back ache and thought that getting higher rise bars would help make it more comfortable to ride.

If any of you know which bars have the highest rise or if you have any advice ide be happy to hear it :)

Thanks.

Sean.

You can add rise a lot of ways. Check your stem if your running a 150X30 its too small which is making you cramped. Consider getting a steeper longer stem like 170X35 this might help more than bars. As for bars look at the controltech scandium if you want a massive amount of rise. However most mountain bike bars will hurt your wrist if you use them for trials, good trials bar geo is 10ish degree back and 10ish degree upsweep like the trialtech sport which is why I recommend using the viz pro 720 bars. They have good trails geo and lots of rise they are also light and strong.

But yeah in all seriousness get a longer stem, an of the following would be good, depending on your budget,

Try-All 180x35 http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=29

TMS 170x35 http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=29

Viz Forged 175x35 http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=29

Echo SL 175x30/185x35 http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=29

Bars you'll want something like Monty/Try-All/Trialtech/Viz, again, depends on your budget

There's plenty of stuff in here http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/search.php?category_id=138 check out the Monty 219, Rockman 7046, Monty 221, Try-All Rage, Rockman 7075, Viz Pro720, and any one of those will be fine.

Personally if you're on a budget, then I'd go for the Try-All/TMS stem, and Monty 219 bars :)

Thanks for the quick replies. :)

At the moment i have got an atomz oversized stem which has the same Geo as the TMS stem, so i think I'm sorted with the stem and i think I'm either going to go for the trial tech or viz pro720 bars and see if they do a better job than my adamant risers i have now :)

Thanks again.

Sean.

buy the viz 720s for sure. I just upgraded from the trialtech sports. The viz are slightly lighter have the same geo and a lot more rise. + it comes in cooler colours.
