Forks Dimensions

hey

looking for forks, i've seen that all them have 2 paramaters for measure the geometry, for example:

- Axle to Crown length: 400mm

- Axle Offset: 35mm

I've been doing theories about what they mean, but i think that the first parameter means the full lenght of the fork (from the stem to the hub) and the second means the distance that the fork goes forward.

Yes, I know, my english is bad, but i try to explain myself as best as I know :D

Thank you all

The fork length is the length of the fork from the axle to the crown of the fork, and the rake is the distance that the axle is positioned forwards from the vertical line of the steerer tube.

Hope that helps

Adam

this is what i tried to explain, but i couldn't haha
