Profile hub, '07 Kris Holm rim. Beast!

The rim has had way too many grinds now, is denting really easily, but it's still going strong! Never used to dent it from new.

i take it when you get a decent hub you no longer use freewheel

can you use any bmx rear hub aslong as the spoke holes are the same as the rim?.

Nah, I just use a Profile because it has strong engagements, and it has a 'female' axle, so it uses bolts to hold it in place. Most other BMX hubs have a 14mm axle, which is too big! And they're often 48h. Profile's are 36h, which still makes it a bitch to find decent rims.

I don't really know much about freewheels, so await some advice from others first. :)

Mine: Trialtech Sport rim, Trialtech spokes and sport Hub, with aroun 5 o 6 grinds on. It had 2 or 3 dents, but it's a strong rim. I recommend it.

One friend of mine: Trialtech Sl rear rim, Rockman hub. With no grinds, yesterday he cracked it over the "union" of the rim, doing the same dropgap I did. My rim is still right there. I don't recommend SL lol.
