I've seen a few threads about this but does anybody know if you can take your bike on a scotrail train? Any details would be great thanks. Especially good for pissing off Virgin train staff who seem to immediately think you don't have one, and that therefore they can have a go at you... Me and two others took our 3 bikes on the scotrail train from perth to edinburgh, just make sure theyre out of the way of everyone. Didn't have a reservation, just took it on. If your asking because you'll be using the train to get to the Glasgow ride, im sure the train wont be too busy (well, you never know actually with Christmas shopping and all that) If anyone asks about them or wants to get past, just be polite and move them to the side.
