Simpson Posted January 5, 2011 Report Share Posted January 5, 2011 I want (not need) a laptop for doing uni work on - not really a clue what I want - my budget can go up if I'm going to get something a lot better Main Uses; Word Excell Matlab Maple Batterylife and weight are obiously important. Generally if you're looking for less than 300 pounds you're going to get a standard 15" 1 hour battery life laptop. You could look mini laptops?
