Hi all !

Yesterday we built up first 24'' zhi trials bike. Actually I want to say - amazing ! Feels like stock, but control is easier with smaller wheels.

Frame:

Weight: ~1.6Kg

Wheelbase: 1080mm

BB: +75mm

Chainstay: 380mm

Hub space: 135mm

Looks.....wrong.

It's a stock frame with either-

A ) Mounts welded on in a diferent position

or

B ) a vee that has enough pad adjustment to allow a 24" to be used.

Josh.

Edit- and from looking at the picture a bit closer, looks very much like B to me.

It's interesting how you can judge the bike even if you haven't ridden it.

The owner of this ride has just got into trials and I think this is really good bike for beginning.

I think a lot of people are judging due to the fact, the geo is for 26' wheels not 24, and in that sense it hasn't been developed enough to class it as a 24 bike

Yes, unfortunately ZHI doesn't worry about making new frame for 24''. They just took stock frame and moved brake clamps for 24'' wheel size :cool2: :P

Shows how much they're commiting to the 24 market really.

They would only of had to shorten the rear triangle and it would of made sense then, big shame, would of been nice to see this frame made properly for 24.

Do you know the reach on it btw?

Josh.

There is another issue, nobody is a Zhi dealer either...

Zhi manufacturing great parts. Actually Zhi frames are one of the strongest frames on the market ! Quite good quality, for low prices and people who can`t afford expensive lightweight super brand parts ( where 30 - 40 % of price is only brand)

For example :

Zhi Team 26'' frame (1.5kg)

Bionic B5R 20'' frame (1.45kg)

Zhi Team 20'' frame (1.35kg)

And a lot of other lightweight parts...

Cheers :)
