Put your effort into you going strait up and bring the bike up to your side ....so your still over the drop...as for preload i dont think it helps every one...my muscles are more fast twitch meaning if i go for a big preload i struggle to power out...but i can hop higher with a small explosive preload

As said already, you are very close to the pallets when setting up and taking off, try and do it from a little bit further away, i used to set off very close and got told to move further away...it helped loads :)

Try putting your front wheel a bit closer then the back wheel just not as close as you are like this --> /|

Also try hopping in it will make you pre-load more and when you per-loading try doing it to the same side of the wall ( In your case to the right of your bike )
