Which Stem?+Would A Nexus Chain Do The Job?

Hi I've built up my bike a week ago, and it feels really similar to ride to my onza pro, I suppose this is because of my stem ? (re-using my onza stem) I wan't something flicky on the rear wheel and pedal ups should be easy on it, I know stems doesn't get you 'good' but you know what I mean... Any tips? It points to a BONZ stem, but I have no idea... What do you recommend? Im 175 btw and ride MOD! :)

My new KMC chain aren't going to get here in about a week, would a nexus chain do the job for about 1-2 weeks of riding? :)

THANKS!

How about a pic of your current bike

Its available at the photo section, the name of it is "Because color/gelpr 20" but I can attach one pic anyway :)

Onza stems usually have decent geo's, maybe it's your bars that you need changing, try tilt them and see if it feels any better.

Better to adjust something than splash the cash ;)

Yeah they're decent, but I have spent about £800 on a new bike, and it fels pretty much like a lighter version of my onza... I have the cash too, so which new stem do you recommend? :) And I already have been playing with my handlebars :)

Thanks :)

what kind of feel/riding style are you after? for a mod, the bar and stem combo looks fine to me, any changes in riding position feel strange, but you'll get used to it after an hour or so and think "why didn't I do this years ago".

Im not looking fo a street-ish behaviour on the bike, I wan't it to be awesome in trials, that's it :) Im more of a TGS rider. I wan't it to be steady on the rear wheel, and really flicky. The pedal ups should be easy on it too. I think this is about what im after, but I have no idea what I should buy. Thanks :)

You've gone to a bike with a shorter wheelbase but a larger bottom bracket?

I'm not sure what to suggest though.

thanks for your time. But I'm quite short too. I know you run the bonz stem, how do you like it?

Otherwise I'm calling tarty :)

I love it. It made my bike so much nicer to ride but that was coming from a 150mm stem to a 175mm stem so it made a lot of difference to my posture.

Give it a go mate. I'm sure if you're not happy someone would snap it straight off you.

Thanks for your help dan, apreciate it! :) How long are you?

No probably not, but I rather regret buying it and know how it felt like. :)
