JQ1989 Posted June 26, 2013 Report Share Posted June 26, 2013 Alright guys, I'm after a new freewheel to fit on a hope pro 2 hub. Thinking it might have to be 17t. I keep bending hangers and knackered my chain tensioner this evening, I'm running 22t up front so am I right in thinking I can run without a tensioner with this gearing? (with a bit of filing) Oh, I'm on a mk1 fourplay. I was wondering what freewheels other people have run 'cause I'm not sure which ones are front free wheel only and which can be used on the hub. Also I need a new BB, any idea what BB's best? I brought a Trial Tech Sport Lite ISIS but the 128mm axle seems too long. Is this just me being a 'tard? It's one of these you want http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/splined_sprockets/c28.html I'd recommend a 16t but it depends on your style of riding. I run 15t on my bike. CalopS Posted June 26, 2013 Report Share Posted June 26, 2013 (edited) urm I'd say it was fine on the back wheel but my bikes a bit shorter on the back end so a 16t would probably be more ideal for an MK1. Edit: snaked by Dave! there both worth trying out. The Guesst double six sprockets have a nice wide foot bed so they don't dig into your hub.
