MCHARDMANUK
I rode trials many years ago and recently decided I'd buy a Orange Zero for nostalgia and I'm deciding what to do with it build wise. It's currently sitting in the garage and I'm in no rush to build it as I'm still sorting my winter single speed project out. I'm not sure if I want to go period trials as it was in the day or change it up and make it a bit more street. My initial thinking is stick a very short travel fork on, dual discs and minimal gears. Brettoll
What a beauty! I don't think the disc mounts on it were the best then, let alone with modern breaking tech and the pressure that will put on them. No suss, dual v brakes, middleburns, hope / mavic wheelset and just have fun

MCHARDMANUK
I don't think the fork is all too strong either. I've been told to keep the original Orange seat but I hate it. I doubt I'll even start building it this year but maybe a HS33 on the rear and a disc upfront. I know a 2.35 tyre fits in the rear as I threw on the wheel that's going on my P7 but to be on the safe side I think I'll go 2.1. First thing, if I do anything would to strip it and get it powder coated again and new decals. Edited 6 hours ago by MCHARDMANUK
