Yeh but this is quite fun in all ohnesty, haha maybe we've been a bit harsh on supercycles? do they read these threads? I know tarty people do but we tend to worship the ground they walk on...

I expect so, as two or three of the people who work there are active on the forum?

Before I was involved with them, I found them to be fine. When anything of mine broke I just gave them a call and they helped me out. Now I'm more involved with them, I've still found them to be fine, and get on pretty well with the people I deal with there. S'all good?

But yeah, don't really get that "I ordered frm Supercycles and they gave me a Control instead of a HiFi" or whatever it was, seeing as they don't do Echo?

Or the reputable ones. TB's and SelectBikes..

got a personal gripe against mjcycles? they might not be a trials specialist but they ride just as much as the guys at selectbikes and are bloody good when it comes to sorting bits out for you. this sunday mike drove all the way from warrington to addingham just because he'd agreed to bring some parts over for a couple of us...

The headset was in upside down, the back brake had a loose nut on the caliper so it leaked, chain was so tight it nearly wiped out the freewheel in the 1st hour, oh and the sent me the £600 version of it aswell.

When the brake wasn't retracting properly i phoned them up( hadn't got a clue about bikes back then) and they told me to dismantle the brake and then put it back on for no reason what so ever and didn't tell me how to fix the problem.

Cheers Thurston

:o That surely cant be true, you should sue them

Tarty defiante, my mate Wayne has ordered from there loads and said its brilliant. Adam also bought a few things and got a free T-shirt which he was wearing the other day (Y)

Tarty bikes rule.

Ben you're a tool. It was £14 and they advised me they would be good on a grind. they lasted about 2 minutes before being half worn down. They never locked and sounded truly aweful. I wouldn't recommend you buying them, but ben has them working on his ceramic.... mind you he is using tar so anything would work on it.

I had the exact same problem i had used mine for no more than 3 days and they had already warn atleast 4mms i wasn't happy atall.

Nick

Or if your smart you get some Plazmatic CRM's from Prawn for £12 :P .

i've also done that ^_^ to replace the shite bubblegay pads.
