Sucram
sorry i am very new to trials is the taper the metal rod like thing that the pedal arms go on to?
Walleee
Yes it's what comes out of the bottom of the frame and allows the cranks to turn.
BIG L
I know i have recently had this problem. All it simply is, is the chain needs tightening so pull the wheel back or tighten your wheel tugs. But if it clicks after that be worried as your bottom bracket will break soon and that also happened to me
MrSuave
there may be a small family of woodlice living in your crank arm?? Either that or you just need to strip it down, grease it, tighten it properly and stop being a pecker.

The Duck
I'd put money on it being the free wheel. They dont last long on the back, let alone the front. I've had 3 in about 18 months To be honest I'd just get a new one cos they come lose again after about half an hour. watto
Or, you could by a decent freewheel and get it overwith eg tensile or eno( rarely comes loose as its great manufacturing.)

xris_x
A close friend had an ACS claws, yep you guessed it..it came loose over and over again.A close encounter with a mig welder stopped that From what i hear some riders glue them with epoxy or locktight.
