Willsey
Well i have been 'playing' with IPB boards for a while... and i want to suggest that maybe a thank you mod would be a very good way of being able to validate people.. for example if I was thanked 5 times, i should be considered to be a validated member.. for those who dont know.. this modification would put a button saying 'thank this member' or something like that.. and so if the member does help you... you simply click it, and they get award it.. simple huh You could do the same with a reputation mod as well, where you rep people if they help.. im sure there is a thanks mod but there deffinately is a rep mod..just a little suggestion.. keep up the good work so far on the site people! i love it! :$
Wright Pads
Thing is a recent new member has been going around thinking he is helping but in all honestly he is not. He's got the answers kind of but there not full or the exact or he is confused between names. So it's a hard one sadly. Your time will come! Siders77
I doubt that would work to be honest. You'll get groups of mates going round and doing it for each other so they get validated quicker.

And that won't stop the scammers, which is one main reason of the validation rule.Plus all the people that are new to trials won't be able to 'help' people and won't get validated.Tis a nice idea though. flex
or if only full mamber can thanks newbs that way we all have a say as to who we want in the main forum. Not in anyway shape or form trying to be an asre, I just really hate the word "newb" or "newbs". Its so degrading, and to be honest a little childish.-Lee Edited July 29, 2006 by flex
