I have the same problem with a disc rotor bolt!!!

there rounded heads and impossible to get off!!!

anyone know how to do it ?

By the way is your crank arm bolt out of the crank arm a little bit?

Theres this nifty tool my dad used to get out a wedged rounded bolt for me.A big plumbing wrench, when you pit it on it tilts and the harder you turn the harder it locks and makes bolts come out really easy (Y)

Hope i've been some use.

Craig.

P.S anyone can help with my disc rotor problem? :(.

Helicoiling? I think it's pretty easy and have had a quick search on google, and the helicoiling sets are about a tenner each... or i expect theres a trade in helicoiling so someon eprofessional might be able to do it.

Helicoiling wont get the bolts out?

Helicoiling is for of you've stripped the threads, you drill the hole out slightly bigger, then insert the helicoil - a strong, steel thread.

No chance of stripping one of those.

If you're confident enough, get a small drill bit, and drill down the bolt, then get the a slightly bigger drill bit, mind you don't drill the threads of the hole out!

And it should just fall apart... :ermm:

I was but got de validated on thursday... not entirely sure what for and have asked for them to reconsider, but no replies to date. So keep your posts good or otherwise you'll have the same thing happen to you when you get validated.
