Fixed Pants™ Posted January 19, 2007 Report Share Posted January 19, 2007 Although the new style ones seem to be improved, i don't like how the lever body clamp thing is only two pieces of thing metal, i much prefer the other style lever body clamp thinger, but the tpa can't be broken easily and seems better... I know loads of people who started with the older HS33s and prefer them but I started with the newer one and prefer mine. Performance wise I think that they are just the same but one thing that is very annoying on the newer HS33s is the placement of the adjuster. Not as stiff as the older model but still works well, more comfortable I suppose you could say.Which ever one you can get cheaper, they're both good. gianttrials Posted May 12, 2007 Report Share Posted May 12, 2007 personnaly i like the original magura raceline levers with long style lever blades an no tpa (as seen on martyn ashtons bike in tricks and stunts/chainspotting). they're not as powerfull as any of the newer types but felt much nicer, mind you this is going back 8-10+ years ago. My mate has the new style maguras on his t-comp and they do feel better as the levers have a much lighter feel to them.
