it's a try all rim so has no eyelets

BUT, if you are meaning the large weight saving holes in the rim? then no they felt smooth enough when i built the wheel for him.

seriously though darren, i would blame it on the tyre. single ply Maxxis tyres aren't very good for puncture protection really, the double ply 2.5 tyres are alot better

also get yourself a proper plastic tyre lever, using a screwdriver? silly boy, that can't help much :rolleyes::lol:

hi there here is a suggestion a mate of mine did it, he got a line of rubber round his tire and and tube and he never got a pinch also because the rubber was pretty wide it meant you could run less psi but still have the same feeling of having more psi and he wasnt really a smooth rider but when he kinda quid he took the rubber out and you could see how many time he woulda got a pinch and snakebits but he didnt thats worth a try mate

or just run a old tube on the inside of tire and some more rim tape
