  1. Practice rock walking on the floor first, 180 on the front then a 180 on the rear. Once you have that down to a tee, try it off a small drop. That should help a bit with completeing the full 360. But a lot of it is based in the twist of the hips and soulders off a drop.
  2. Ill be on the 6:50 train to plymouth, from Ivy, will meet you in there!
  3. Well you seem to have for gotten you said you had 3 PATA thats parrallel ATA not SCSI. Thats a completely different interface.... ALL TOGETHER!!! The 3 Flash based hard drives you say you have can not be run on any of that hardware. PATA doesn't work with SCSI. Oh yea... and where is a link to these drives you own? I'm still waiting on it. EDIT - Oh yea and good google on Raid, after you had been completely proved wrong and that you didnt have raid 5 + 1, you now all of a sudden have raid 0!
  4. Maxxis High roller on the front, and a try all on the rear. Both in 26"
  5. Currently using a set of Zoo!'s on a smooth rim no tar, makes a nice loud squeek, and locks really well! Aslong as you dont have a flower between the pad and rim as i found out on saturday!!!
  6. Have you thought of a diet? Hehe only kidding, what were you doing to fold it?
  7. Id personaly say the try all. mine is very very nice, awesomely strog, and well made(thanks to tarty). Altho the new echo's look like they could be very nice!
  8. Yea just read that article, would be nice, bout would need about 5 to compete with the space of a normal laptop... then not really saving any battry power. And pointless in a RAID config seeing as they are PATA drives, and just wont work.
  9. The only ones I have heard of on the market are one with flash memory for the boot sector. But not for the whole hard drives.
  10. Battery Cycle Centre? Might pop in there and ask them if they need another rider!
  11. Just to highlight a few points here. SCSI in 5 + 1 is pointless, and you would need 6 drives at least. As raid one is mirroring, and raid 5 - which needs 3 drives atleast - has its own built in redundancy, so 2 drives work as one and the 3rd drive is a parity drive. And SCSI flash drives are a new thing here. Got a link to them? P.S If you are doubting my credentials. I am one of the mugs that answer the acer warranty, and my brother manages the acer server line, and I'm currently training for the server lines.
  12. So which bike shop is this Pete? I need to get my self a camera sorted so i can start making a few vids of a decent quality. I get bored sometimes and make them on my K610i... but its not really made for making anything of quality.
  13. Using a Giro Indicator Which is nice and light on my Noggin
  14. Doesnt really help cause then i need to buy new cranks, new bash new BB, rear wheel. Probably looking less for a new Chris king.
  15. Hmm looks alright, doesn't really stand out from the pack though!
  16. Hmm yea i think thats possibly the only way to go, will be interesting to hear about the new Zoo! 26"mod frames with the same 116mm rear spacing, and if they have the same problem But Chris King BMX's might be the only way to go. Glad to hear im not the only one who has had a problem with the Holroyds though. They have tried to say that was the only one who had problems with their hub, and that it was my fault, cheeky beggers. Still damn nice bike
  17. Trouble is i quite like my hard ratio, have been tempted to try a lighter gear, but ive become so used to 18/12 at the moment, im not sure i really want to change it might invest though...... only a couple quid
  18. Well after having just recently ruined a profile mini cassette hub on my Holroyd, I sent it back to profile and they sorted it for me (thank you for the awesome turn around time guys!!!) I’m getting it back on Friday, but just wondering if anyone has any experience with a 26inch bike using 116mm spacing at the rear, and if the have any hubs that have lasted along time and not broken. To give you an idea on have long these tend to last, I have had the bike for about 4 months now, I have completely knacked 2 of the standard 24Seven hubs that come with the bike, and I’m now running my 3rd, and as above my profile. So far my profile has lasted the longest, getting close to 2months, but the 24Seven hubs last a month of riding if I’m lucky. Any hints or products would be nice, although will be giving my profile another chance Ohh and I’m currently running a 18/12 ratio (with the 24Seven) and 18/13(with my profile)
  19. Get a Koxx/Try all rim for the rear, mine has so far not buckled, and outlasted my profile hub. Cant wait to get it back tomorrow!
  20. If your still looking for chain tugs, im currently running some profile ones on my 24Seven Holroyd. You may need to grind them down a little to get them to fit poperly, but never had a problem with them and they hug my frame nice and tight.... and they aint going to snap if you land on them!
  21. WOW! some of the answers in this topic have been a bit silly! I started riding when i was 14(now 21), i started on a £350 GT beast, since then ive had about 6 or so different bikes. I did change from a Stock to a Mod, and loved it, helped me get a few techniques dialed, but I have recently moved back to stock and I can still apply the same techniques took a few rides to get used to the different geometry but im now going bigger and bigger every ride. Its going to be your own personal choice on what you want to ride, Stock or Mod, and which you prefer. Personally i enjoy both, but im finding my new Holroyd to be a joy to ride. I would recommend trying stock befor changing. Take a simular bike for a test ride to see if you like it. PS Sorry for the bad spelling, its a friday afternoon, and im looking forward to riding tonight!
