  1. Yeh thought so; went for the 180's in the end as through the colder months ill just use it for cruising with suspension forks, then come summer get some smaller rotors and some rigid forks... Cheers!

  4. Alright people, I have a set of hope m4's, the old black lever body model, to go onto my 24" Identiti, and was just wondering what disc rotor size would be cool, I was initially thinking 203mm on the front and 180mm on the rear... Any suggestions? Thanks
  5. Saw off the seat tube, and get a mini one seat on it, won't hurt as much if you forget and sit down!

  11. Guys and Girls, Would anyone please give me advice on which grade/grain of sandpaper I would need to use in order to strip my bmx frame, before it goes of the be sprayed... Also, would help if you could tell me where to purchase it, many thanks!!

  14. Yeh the pads are brand new, hence why I wanted to make sure the rotor is clean, but cheers, I'll try that
  15. Ah sweet I'll give it a shot! Yeh just cleaned it with a wire brush and boiling water earlier; but halfords have disc cleaner (although the description states use for motor bikes) would this still enable a thorough clean, allowing for the hope brake to fully grip the disc? Cheers
  16. Cheers lads, so do you rate your opinion more then Bing? Where is brake cleaner available? And just tried to undo the bolts on my front avid rotor, onto a hope II hub, and they appear to be stuck, any tips on loosening them up? Thanks

  19. Does any one know the procedure for correctly cleaning and disinfecting hope rotors? I'm thinking mine is contaminated and don't want to use it just in case, help would be appreciated, thanks
  20. To be honest mate, weight will only become an issue when you really up the height of obstacles, as a starter bike, I can't see it being a problem

  23. They are the same as a kick hop, just practice on lower benches and things; then shift your weight onto the front end once it's been placed on the obstacle. After this, your shift your legs and back wheel on.. Hope this helps.....
