  1. Hello! I've got a 360 and can honestly say I think its great. I had largely the same problem when I first got mine as I obtained mine through a phone contract deal thing and because of that it was only the core system. So... 1.You CAN just buy a controller memory unit for about 20 quid, the only real reason to get a hard-drive is because the profiles take up alot of memory so you won't be able to make multiple profiles. 2. It will definatly play all 360 games. It is basically the Premium system minus a hard-drive. 3. If you have a Gamestation near you then they do great preowned offers. If you want it new Argos and PC World have some good deals about now. 4.When you say DAve Mirra, I assume you mean the old Xbox one, in which case you will need to connect to xbox live for 40 quid (per year) to obtain the upgrade to make your console backwards compatible. But unlike the PS3, not all old xbox games can be played, and I don't dave mirra will work. There is a new dave mirra game coming out on the WII though... 5. I wouldn't have bought mine if I didn't get it free initially, but I would buy one now if mine got lost because it really is that good. Get Gears of War and Halo 3 and you'll be set. It really has the edge over the PS3 in terms of games and the Live scene, and in terms of price. The only thing that lets it down is that if you wanted the full experience then Microsoft do hit you with all the add-ons, as I've mentioned about backwards compatibility. But aside from that they are great!

    Hope Pro 2

I've just got myself a set of pro2 wheels and so far they are really, really good. And they are the loudest hubs I have ever heard, sounds like a bloody motorbike.
  3. Now that is sweet. I'd have that over long low and silver any day.
  4. I've got to agree with him ^^^^^^. You're obviously a very, very talented rider but that video was just boring, too many of the same old moves that are in every other video about.
  5. A sport can only go for so long progressing in the same direction before it becomes mundane. Trials can only go for so long progressing to bigger sidehops or bigger taps before it becomes stale and, in my opinion, it already has. Thats why its so refreshing and inspiring to see riders like Danny progressing the sport in such a different way. His unique style is not conventional trials riding, certainly, but it is nonetheless pushing boundaries beyond the 'traditional' and in do so creating something that I think we all find incredibly enjoyable to watch and very interesting. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd much sooner watch one of Danny's vids than one of endless sidehops, gaps and taps.
  6. I saw them on Sunday the 12th or somethin in cardiff then again on the tuesday after in the NEC! Slightly different set both nights, cardiff they did Knights first, take a bow last AND played citizen erased, at the NEC they did take a bow first and knights last, DIDN'T play Citizen, but played Sunburn and Muscle Museum instead!!
  7. You're spot on with streets of rage. Definatly the Tony Hawks too. Halo probably too.
  8. It is a big phone to be fair, but when the pictures are that good who cares. Carrying a decent digital camera and a phone in your pocket would be way more so its great to have both in one.
  9. I watched the new Dirty Sanchez movie last night. It was pretty funny in places but mostly I found myself thinking 'why have I just payed to see this?' because it is full of male nudity and shit where it's not funny, it's just f**ked up. They take it a bit too far in the movie. Jackass is just funny, it's not f**ked up like Sanchez. Also, the Sanchez stuff gets a bit ild after a while.
  10. Go buy some Nokian tyres, I've been riding them for two years and never had one puncture.
  11. That video was amazing, reall enjoyed that. I wish there were more videos like that around, and less of the 'lets see how many boring sidehops and taps we can fit into three minutes' videos.
  12. Barrel rolls are sick, super stylish trick. Manual to front flips not too shabby either!
  13. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....419&st=1280 Use that thread for questions like this.
  14. I started on a bike just like that! Except mine was the 810 version with the sync forks. Great stuff man, what a beast!
  15. Its probably my eyes playing tricks, but that bike doesn't look real...looks as though it was photoshopped into place.
  16. About six or seven years ago, maybe more, I was riding my frickin' sweet Apollo which had old school rock shox judys on. I went over a very small jump and the steerer of the forks snapped and the broken park of the steerer actually went through my mouth and took a chunk out of the inside of the lower lip. Couldn't eat for a week, had to drink some messed up drink thing! The moral of ths story is don't fit aluminium steerers on bikes!
  17. I agree, an Enduro would probably be just what you are looking for. Specialized churn out some very good bikes.
  18. I'm really not sure you should colour co-ordinate that bike. As someone has said it might end up a little two-tone as most coloured products that are out there are a lot lighter red than your frame. Its a nice looking bike as it is, I wouldn't change it!
  19. You say you've only watched it once and Denny only gets maybe 2-3 minutes time on each episode so I'd say its a fair assumption. And if you think my posts are offensive then maybe you should check some of yours on this thread.
  20. Agreed, I'd definatly have one.
  21. You know what I mean so don't act stupid, Its obvious you've watched it once. The solution to your problem with Denny, which is slightly unfounded as you've only watched it once and therefore can't have a very comprehensive idea of him as a rider, is don't watch it. Theres no need to come onto this forum and go over the top with offensive comments about a rider that you apparently have only watched about 2 or 3 minutes of. It makes you seem an unreasonable, angry person who has nothing better to do. Thats why you should go and ride.
  22. This is all getting a bit much isn't it? If you don't like it, don't watch it, simple as that. To say he is misrepresenting trials is crap because, to be fair, I don't know anyone apart from riders who watch the show, and they know the extent of trials, And even if the general public did sit and watch it, I truly don't think they'd be able to tell the difference between Denny and someone like Leech, lets face it, if you don't do a sport as relatively unkown as trials, you don't really have an idea of whats good or not, in my opinion. I also think that Denny is a bit of a fish out of water, tackling difficult natural terrain when he is clearly a street rider. PLus he is entertaining to watch in general, seems like a fun guy, which counts for alot on a show like Drop-In that has alot of off-bike footage. So rather than get pointlessly angry about something that dosen't really matter, just don't watch it and go ride your bike!
  23. Don't even get me started with Road Fools, those guys are absolutely amazing, I've never see as many riders with that level of talent, skill and sheer balls on one video/program before. Some of the stuff that gets done on that show is plain ridiculous.
  24. I reckon Drop-In is ace and Shawn Denny, whilst of course not being the most able rider around, is a top geezer and alot of fun to watch. And I'd rather see a mediocre rider hitting lush natural spots than the same old street sidehope, taps and hooks that seem to be everywhere at the moment... And Darren Berrecloth is the man.
  25. You'll be alright, I started learning on a Trek 810 which had a frame size of roughly 1900 inches, and I still don't have a full-on trials specific but I'm doing ok I think! The only thing I will say is that its best to leave the big moves, even when you get a bit better, until you get yourself a more upmarket steed, just because its safer that way.
