So just putting the word out. Last night in Edinburgh my bike was stolen from outside Alien rock climbing centre! seriously pissed off. The frame is a Vario Styx in pearl white, front wheel is an onza reggie on a blue hope xc, rear is a try all on a blue pro11 hub. Forks are ashtons with the mounts for 24 and 26" wheel. Echo tough bars Onza stem Front blue maggie Rear quicksilver maggie Front and rear try all tyres Middleburn cranks gold kmc chain If you see this crop up either whole or in pieces somewhere give me a shout. When i ran a smooth rim i had the Koxx browns, which i found worked really well for me with a light use of tar on one side of the rim

During my 2 year break from trials i was climbing atleast twice a week, when i finally got back into trials alongside climbing i didnt feel that bad, i still had alot of power that i thought i would have lost having not riden any bike for two years. But to my suprise it was all there, the dreaded arm pump hardly happens now, even when on natty. I think climbing is a great cross training aid as it is an all body work out and is purely bodywieght. Which means you get good power to wieght ratio, aswell as good stamina

im quite looking forward to this, i will hopefully have a working front brake again. Needs new pads and a rotor. Gonna go for a 200mm rotor should provide plenty of bite

If i wasnt heading home that weekend for my birthday i woulda joined you. Would have been nice to explore new areas and spots to ride. And yeah the consensus on edinburgh is thats its not too great, ok for the odd hour after work, but not if your wanting to hit it big. Have fun

for a while i wasnt too impressed with my maggie on the rear. But then again it was close to two years since my last bleed so i tried the water bleed in a bath, it was soo easy even my girlfriend could do it (which she did at one point ) set up the brake, took some time in aligning the pads, and wow what a brake, now i remember why i love it so much. Basically take some time to adjust it and give it a proper bleed, and you will love it again!

I am very tempted by this, i'll provisionally say im coming, havnt been to ft bill for a good few years

Stirling ended up being a good day out Started off a bit dull, but after pushing some boulders off the cliff it soon got going Good to meet you guys

Iv got the N73 with carl zeiss lense and i think its great. Takes really nice pics, look great on the pc, also come out great on a4 photo paper Would recommend it. When i upgrade ill probs just get a new one
