  1. low prreasures are good but not to silly, if you have a decent tyre rim and tube you can get away with quite low preasures, without getting pinch flats, you just may need to buy a new rim every once in a while?
  2. i have a zenith and it is so nice to ride, i have never really liked ashtons and i have heared alot of people snap them? go for the zenith
  3. well yes i agree, porter probably dont feel like he has to expalin himself otherwise he would have done, but clearly every one feels that he should explain himself, thats why they all have to bitch about his choice to ride for select etc...... and i wouldn't really call it an argument about a kid on a bike, but hey if thats the way you see it mate fair enough, it just annoys me the way people think he has a loyalty to explain things to everyone, like you said he is a kid and shouldn't be having a brake from riding for ashton, so he can enjoy trials again, as that is why we all do it isn't it? anyway enough about the porter thing, and more about the topic title, a?
  4. So your going to let it drop now then anyway the bike look's cool and so much fun, cant wait to see the other products bet they will be well nice to. also on the subject of Porter, its his choice who he rides for and he shouldn't feel like he has to explain it to everyone every time he decides he wants a change, we should all be happy that he is still riding as he is bloddy awesome on a bike! and a pleasure to watch.
  5. Hi i have just purchased a Zona Zenith fram and i am wondering what people think about them?
  6. very nice Stanners, just need to get some zoo bars now, and get rid of the flat bars
  7. hi mate this issue does not really sound to god now does it? firstly mate its horrible to say but doctors don't really know what they are talking about when it comes to things like this that is why they usually just fob you off with an A4 sheet of paper with exercises on. which generally don't work. (I have had an issue with my shoulder before anode they were a total joke) also they may suggest a physio but again they don't ever seam to be able to help at all, they just do the same and give you some stupid little exercises. what I would recommend myself is finding a decent sports massage therapist, I am one myself and I have a rough idea what the issue could be but without looking at you properly I don't want to suggest anything as it could make it worse, also you may think that strengthening your back will stop the issue but the chances are that it will help, but the pain will still continue, as weird as this does sound it is 100% true that the majority of postural pains i.e. back, neck, shoulder etc.... start at the posture of your feet? I know its sounds weird but believe me I know my stuff, and it's defiantly not uncommon for trials riders to have a pain or 2 due to the riding position we spend so many hours in. so what I can suggest and recommend is this. if you really want this to go away. you really need to start stretching your legs every day, or at least after every ride, as you will definitely, be tight in almost all these areas, hamstrings, quads, calves, adductors and abductors. search on the net for some decent videos of some stretching, as trying to follow pictures and explanations is never easy. once you have been stretching for a while, then start to introduce, some strengthening exercises........ for your legs, back, oblique and rectus abdomens (Abs). I would also be inclined to visit a sports massage therapist to do some general spinal vertebra test on your lumber spine, and they should be able to spot anything that is not quite functioning right. they usually cost about £30-£35 an hour but trust me it is well worth it if you can find a decent therapist (ask if they are qualified in personal training, or look for someone who specialises in correctional exercise as well as the massage, they should know there stuff. Any more questions mate please ask away. Pm me if you want
  8. in reply to the above, i said i never realised this and i would give you the money back, if ye send the hub back to me? but as you have not replyed to the situation i guess you ent to bothered, like i said i was sorry this was the case so i would rather you never bitched about me thanks? if you ent guna send the hub back than it ent guna get sorted! and the reply to Phil, i have pm'ed you now mate and the hub is on its way, sorry for the delay, and causing you to worrie i have sent the goods as soon as i can mate its just i work so far away from a post office and i am always bussy with being away with work and stuff not that that should excusse my slack on this.

  15. well your chain may be a link to long in which case the chain tugs will not work? if so take a link out and try to tighten it all again? if this is not the case loosen the wheel bolt, then tighten the chain tugs (align the wheel when doing this as well) then once the chain is tight enough, do the wheel bolts back up
  16. cool vid some real nice riding! keep it up
  17. I would say try your best to eat as well as you possibly can, if you are doing allot of riding every day, food is well important to give you the energy to do it properly, you don't need to go over the top as you are not trying to loose excessive weight or gain massive bulk, but see it like this your body is your engine but s##t fuel in it and it will perform s##t!. I myself am a qualified personal trainer, I keep myself in shape and eat as well as I can but I still enjoy the usual junk every now and than, so don't think you have to monitor it all the time, try to eat good carb's like wholegrain pasta, rice etc, you will have all the energy you need, also if you are riding every day and you can afford it I would recommend supplementing your riding with a protein supplement, this will help repair your muscles after long days of riding and prepare yourself for the next ride. Sorry to bang on a bit but definitely consider it you will definitely notice a difference. any more Q's please ask.

    Calluses

Hi everyone, I am just wondering if anyone has any hints/tips on how to stop calluses hurting so much? I have only just started getting pain on them when riding so any info would be appreciated Thanks Ryan
  24. Yea I am riding with the same set-up and it is pants. your brake will be so nice with the koxx pads they are soooooooo sweet, but until you get them just use a bit of tar on top of your grind this will do the job with your koolstops, but if not the standard black pads are better in my experience than the KS with a grind?????
