ah it ok i guess and cheap i bet, so it will be good to start on upgrade some parts then move on to a decent frame, everyone's a winner.

i dont really know if it is worth it really, its about 15 quid for a new rotor if you are unfortunat enough to snap one. cheap as chips but if it was something that keept happening. run a v brake or magura you can set them up so good nowa days. i dont really see the need to run disk if your worried about rotors etc

well as the topic says whats you trials bike/frame family tree starting from you first bike ending and you most recent please put the bike's/frame's you have used? oh yea also put the time period over which this has been aswell. mine goes a little like this -raliegh assendern (standard) -shimano frame (crap Cheap parts) -kona Cant remember exact make 17", fsa cranks, tectro v's planet x bars (the rest was crap really) -zoo bits frame, kona p2's, tomac magura's, d521's on shimano hubs, el gato tyres, fsa pig headset, planet x bars, fsa cranks etc.... -merlin frame (with the same parts as the above) - ddg shooter, pashley forks, tomac maguras's, ddg bars, downhill stem, 521's ceramic with shimano hubs, continentall vert pro tyres front and back, fsa cranks, filthy ard gard, fsa pig head set.........etc ## this was over about 2/3 years ## (i then quit for 3 and a half years) came back with a saracen 2.6, frame snapped i now ride a Zona zenith, mission forks, zoo bars, marura front and rear with citrus pads, middleburns, pro 2 rear with hog rim, hope mono lite front with mavic rim, maxis tyres, anyway whats yours

well i dont know if i will get much money but if i do i am in need of a rear tyre, and also i need to get some now burns crank arms as mine are currentky bodged but what ever santa brings me.

i started to back hop on an old raleigh assender 17" thing, was crap, but my first bike i used for trials was a shimano frame????? dont know anything else, this was crap. but hey it was my first bike with a bash plate

no chance bb7's are one of the best disk's out there including hydro ones

i think me and a few mates just started to p#ss around on some crappy old bmx bikes, we went to our local bmx track and then progressed to mountain bikes, from there it just ended up being trials we rode, as there were a few people doing it at the time. (a long time ago) also one of my mates looked like ashton and had a red heavy tools, with yellow componants just like ashtons bike on chainspting. we were convinsed it was him untill we later found out HA HA HA , but it was just a progressive thing. however i do wish i never gave up for 3 years, but back for good now

as the topic says, has anyone ever had a go on your bike and broke it? my recent example is this= i was on my friends old school orange zero (which feels like a granny treader to ride now i am using a +25 bb frame) and my mate was on mine he fell off and managed to give me 4 punctires on the front dont ask me how? i toke it apart fixed one of the pinches set it all up went to pump up and nothing, took apart only to discover the 2nd pinch flat (we obviously had a laugh about it ) anyway you ever had this happen to you, or done this to someone else??????

1 thing is to prepair for each ride, so you dont have a really bad one, thats the worst thig for de-motivating yourself when you go out and cant do something you thought you had nailed the night before

well i have a zenith which is a +25mm rise this is really nice as it is not to high, and not to low. it is the best frame i have used. i would say anything over say =30 is to high and does not make sence, if you cant get comfy on the back wheel with +25 dont bother

i have snapped a zoo bits frame about 4 years or so ago. (when i use to ride) countless crapy shimano hubs a bashplate more recently- i cracked my saracen 2.6 frame. a onza ronnie rim a few mech hangers, and about 500 chains

maguras are good and cheap get a set off ebay? for about £50 tops? v's are good, but they usualy cost a bomb for a decent set of levers, v's, decent cable set etc also rear magie and front v are cool
