Do you reckon it's worth starting a topic where riders can input good spots to ride in their local scenes as a reference for visiting riders??

Went to Bill about a month ago actually as Olly (Pushbikerider) used to live in Weymouth so had a good day riding there (and drinks in Pikeys in the evening). Cheer's for these Josh, will bear them in mind.

Ok, Myself and Pushbikerider quite enjoy leaving the confines of Reading at a weekend to go ride somewhere different. We have been to a few places in the last few months and found some good and not so good places, thought I might throw it out there to see where people ride often and reccomend going. Usually if its just a days worth of riding we look for somewhere about 1.5 - 2 hours drive tops really. The places we have ridden are: Bristol - Good scene and places to session Southampton - Was ok, not too familiar with the spots Poole - Ok, good sea front walls and a skatepark but not a lot else Portsmouth - Bits around the coastline, not a lot else Brighton - Rubbish, rode around for ages and ended up playing on these half balls by the beach Plymouth - Lovely long stretch of street furniture from the trainstation to the quay So any more suggestions people??

No need to apologise, it's all a bit confusing coming back to it and loads has changed. Ok so the Kona shred is a DJ bike so not very trialsy at all, but someone may have that or something similar knocking about. You would need to put an advert in the wanted section though and see what people offer you rather than a thread in here. If you are looking for something that is more trials and street and jump you may have to go for somthing a little different. See if someone has Norco or a Marino perhaps they are willing to part with?

Ok you are opening a huge can of worms here, so lets break it down a bit. Firstly, are you after a stock or a jump bike? Two different things? Secondly, what kind of things did you look at on ebay? What brands, specs, prices? Thirdly, anyone can give you an opinion on what they think is best from what they have ridden. You may need to spend some time thinking about the type of riding you want to do and what bike you think will suit then people can make some tailored suggestions around that. Hope that helps, Brett
